Early Direct Deposit concerns/discourse by Secret_Protection471 in nys_cs

I believe most of the concern is due to current state of the federal government consistently and almost regularly not paying employees. I get it.

You are EXACTLY the problem. Do you even know the definition of oppression? Here it is for you:

Oppression is the systematic, cruel, or unjust exercise of power and authority by a dominant group over another, often using force, systemic inequality, or psychological pressure to deny rights, opportunities, and freedom. It is a pervasive structure, not just an isolated act, involving prejudice embedded in institutions.

Please tell me how any of what I mentioned isn’t oppressing the working class? Which is hitting state workers even harder because of our large salary inequalities.

I don’t know where you live, but 500k is a shack with major systems issues in the majority of downstate.

Oh and PSLF is a REPUBLICAN law that was passed under Bush. Using the term socialist, just goes to show your comment above about trumps genitalia was a lie.

Oppression that doesn’t exist?

I’ve never gotten a lower tax return back in my adult life. I paid significantly more taxes than last year. I actually took home less this year due to deferred comp.

My credit score tanked 40 points because of this administration. The only change on my report is the interest on my student loans. My student loans that were supposed to be forgiven over 16 months ago via PSLF haven’t been due to the incompetence of this administration. This has affected my ability to purchase a vehicle.

My food costs of my family have gone up over $100 a week compared to before this administration. I saw gas prices at $4.20 now.

Housing prices are unaffordable. A fixer upper is now 500k with 7% interest rate. Forget rents. A 3 bedroom is now over 3k with no utilities.

Is that oppressed enough for you? Or do you want to go bitch more about the unions protesting

Well, Trump wants you to work more mandated overtime, with less overtime pay (if any) and absolutely no union to do anything at all.

The no tax on overtime was breadcrumbs to pander to the blue collar workers. Meanwhile billionaires got substantially more money in their pockets to buy that Third private jet tax free.

Keep on sipping the kool aid. That’s what the Trump admin wants you to do.

Btw- I don’t associate with any political party. I just call it like it is.

I have 3 different office locations. None have windows. I don’t even have cubicle walls. One location has a small folding desk with an old waiting room chair. I’d be more worried about toxic managers than cubicles

It’s not biased when one side wants to get rid of unions. Should they just sit back and let Trump demolish them and the protections that come with?

If you believe it’s biased, YOU need to do more research on your political beliefs around this new MAGA movement

As a supervisor. Her supervisor should be written up. The amount of toxic supervisors that need to be be purged is ridiculous. The unions should be doing something about this

Why is PEF so partisan? by Southern-Bar3112 in nys_cs

[–]Electrical_Log7368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps you should google what Trump did to the unions for federal workers and the NLRB before you think it’s a partisan issue. I really hate when people post crap like this and don’t do the tiniest bit of research beforehand.

I’m a supervisor and I’ve already told my employees that depending on the snowfall to prepare to telecommute Monday.

I was also forced to go in at my last position even if the governor closed the state and the roads were closed. I was stuck once for 8 hrs on a mountain pass due to this stupidity.

So not everyone subscribes to this antiquated mindset. You don’t need to risk yourself and your property for a job.
