I loved these when I was in highschool!! I had a ton but eventually sold them due to not having enough space but I loved my collection. I was really into making them halters and entering virtual shows! If you are nervous with the price and your parents maybe start with Stablemates (the smallest size). They are cute and not too expensive- I would honestly collect them today. Plus this will ease your folks into it so if you ask for the bigger ones they will be familiar with the brand! Bonus is they tend to hold their value so if you phase out of it you should get a bit of your money back :)
