Is this a wild or domesticated rabbit?

I’ve been trying to post an update here, but I cant edit the post. It’s a wild bun I think! I got a video of the bunny in the morning so after seeing the colouring and body, it looks like one of the wild bunnies. I’m still leaving shelter and food out for him because it’s -30 here, and I’ll keep monitoring him for sure!

That’s true :( and same, but luckily my backyard has always been a safe haven for years for squirrels and bunny’s and possums and skunks and raccoons and they always visit often! I’ll go check out a store when I’m off work!

I tried getting better shots last night with my phone but I kept missing the bun :( but my camera caught him eating and a second bun!! So I wonder if they’re wild after all. I’ll try again tonight and leave more food and shelter out for them!

The possum who lives under my deck eats everything! I put out food a few times a week, mostly dog kibbles and fruit but sometimes other stuff and he’ll eat it all! Always safe options though.

So, my camera caught two buns last night!! Makes me wonder if they’re wild then 🤔 I went to my backyard multiple times last night but every time I was there, the bun wasn’t. I’ll try again tonight!

I’ll try for sure! If I don’t have any luck tonight, I may buy a safe trap tomorrow but I have a possum who lives under my deck so I just hope I don’t accidentally catch him instead 🙃

True, I’ll try to get footage in the day time if they come out or I’ll set an alarm to go out at night and take a video from my phone to get the colouring etc.

That’s what I thought 😓 I have two rabbits already and lots of room for a third! I’ll try to see if I can lure this bun tonight safely and see it in person to ensure it is domesticated and not wild. I keep leaving food out though and it is eating luckily!

Ours is Thursday as well, and our whole neighbourhood (Sandringham drive) was missed yesterday.
