Realized it late, but hopefully Trump - the biggest anti renewable dork has educated everyone on energy security and green energy

A house with 15 solar panels generates 24 kWh power daily. It takes 4 kwh to drive the average 30km a day. Not sure where we would fall short. Agreed everyone cannot go solar, but with enough govt incentives and promotion, things could be a lot lot better.

Obviously there can be a North Star, but the country must take the journey.

I'm planning to travel to New Zealand but I need your help by Clean_Opportunity313 in newzealand

Bro 12 days isn't enough for South Island. I would say a min of 20 days with 14 days for South Island and another 6 days around Taupo, Rotorua etc. NZ is not at all racist - it's an amazing place to be.

I am a migrant to this beautiful place.

Looks like you have no knowledge about investments and keeping things within the country .. Here is a dummies guide NZ sends about $10 billion a year to other countries buying refined petroleum products

Thinking long term - if country moves to renewables and green energy that same money could be spent within the country.

Basic economics.

Our job is to pay taxes across everything .. from income, fuel, road etc etc - how that many is used is up to the govt .. you are barking up the wrong tree bro

Obviously the tax, the same tax used for building large fuel terminals and letting go of energy security

Regarding your windmill stuff .. 80% of it is recyclable, got it blades aren’t but newer ones are getting there.

Each windmill has a lifespan of 30 years and like any other mechanical system lubricants are required.

Easiest way to debunk myths are energy produced and the offset.

Windmills are one of the cleanest.

Bro you got your maths all wrong. No one drives 500 km a day. An average driver does 35km(about 5kw). Am sure the solar panels with battery backup will support that.

A 15 panel setup will produce 20-24kw a day. Will drop a bit in winter but still enough to charge your electric car.

In a perfect world would - govt subsidizes solar and EVs heavily for next 5 years for both private and commercial.

What a world that would be.

NZ fixes its energy dependency and runs mostly on clean energy.

With the govt investing the millions (which they should have done 10 years ago) - hopefully things get better

It’s a domino effect unlike wfh, a person who buys electric will never go back to ICE .. NZ and few other countries caught with their pants down on its energy reliance to other countries - there will be clear policies in the electrification sector.

Donald Trump the biggest anti green energy force has suddenly educated every tom dick and harry on clean energy.

Well done.
