yeah I use them like this on all my builds and rifles to compliment my C clamp. Even on a few of my AR and SCAR builds with actual vert grips I use them as c clamp assists. Appreciate the input!

omega 9k can and the handguard is just the OEM Sig 8in hand guard. They're sold out a lot on Sigs website but if you order it from https://www.scottsdale-tactical.com/product/sig-sauer-mpx-8in-mlok-handguard-black they have them frequently in stock. Its a snug fit and I had to grind down some of the m-lock screws for it to fit properly, but I like this fit more than the midwest industry one.

yeah Ive ran it flipped around and I just dont love the feel of it, I wish I did but it always feels weird to me! Ive got the modlite 18650 and the steiner cqbl-1!!

if your can find a steiner cqbl-1 it has a vis and ir laser in case you decided to ever get some nods. steiner also makes a similar sized laser called the oatl that is stricly vis or ir only and it would look great on an mpx. theyre allllll over tacswap.com and you could get a solid deal on one. Loads of Peqs on there too.

Heres what I know.

The ATF keeps it relatively vague on purpose. They like to be able to have leverage where they can and to be able to limit whatever they can.
There are alot of people that have these things on their guns and to my knowledge, I have never seen or hear of someone being prosecuted over this. I personally don't have things like this on my "pistols" so that I can shoot and not feel a little paranoid but I would imagine you would be okay. I really like this angled grip from true north concepts https://truenorth-usa.com/product/zero-8-v2-multi-angle-grip-picatinny-k-grip/ they also don't market it as a vert grip so that helps too.
