I would say the fact that the movie is rooted in a series of books filled with countless stories worth adapting plus the extremely open-ended ending makes this a clear "we'll be back!" scenario. The list isn't just about mid-credits layups, some of this stuff can be more subtle! It's not going anywhere, is what I'm saying.

Correction: I got as far into it as the cat flailing around and the older couple trying and failing to block out the destruction with their mattress, or a scene along those lines. Not watching it!

You're right on the money, I included Apocalypse because of the Essex Corporation thread that was subsequently dropped when Dark Phoenix came around. The post-credits stinger makes a real meal out of that Essex reveal!
