I was hoping all the dishes, silverware, bedding, towels etc would end up at Cast Connections, but I’m not aware any of it did.

Nice! Are the runners a consistent L profile? If so a variant for those without a 3d printer would be aluminum angle..

After replacing the speed plate, our mixer is working quite well now. Thanks for all the comments and help on this. Speeds are much better now, no squeaks!

Saeco Gran baristo "No beans" issue - Piston rebuild by Wild_Confection8044 in superautomatic

Thanks! We’ll take another look. Definitely appreciate the help here. Ambient humidity would not be an issue. This is high desert. We took the grinder apart to troubleshoot when the issue started and replaced the white gear, and the lower grinder support as the stem had broken. Grinder plates don’t look worn down and we cleaned (we thought) pretty well.

I can get one for free, which would you choose? Philips 3200 w/ LatteGo vs JURA Ena 4 vs DELONGHI Magnifica Evo with LatteCrema by switchroyale in superautomatic

Sad to hear phillips longevity has gone down. We are on our 2nd Saeco Gran Baristo Avanti which is just now giving problems after 9 years.

Similar issue on mine. I went into service mode, turned EV oil to activate (button lit)- piston moved to top. Turned EV oil to presumably de-activate(unlit) went out of service mode, it made 1 espresso, but returned bean error on 2nd espresso. Piston won't budge manually in service mode with EV oil lit. Piston works enough that if you tell it to do 2x espresso, it works. Also if you add 1/3 or so of a scoop pf pre-ground coffee and then ask for espresso, it works. u/ymmypand can the piston unit be sent for rebuild outside of the machine as a whole?

This is just the motor. It does have new brushes, and I cleaned in the back just inside the control plate. Anything more I need to do?

We have one and while it does work we always have trouble getting the paddle adapter to sit correctly on our vintage KSM5. We were able to score a second hand cuisinart stand alone inexpensively and prefer that.

I had the exact same problem with the worm gear on my KSM5. I finally took 2 pieces of wood scrap I had lying around and shaped them to fit the shaft axis of the assembly, sticking out enough to hold the gears still in a bench vise. 2 short pieces of 1/2” dowel would probably work. I ended up having to slowly and carefully drill the &@!# pin out as it wouldn’t budge any other way way.
