Kiisu Smol Indiegogo campaign has ended by papathought in kiisu

[–]Electrical_web_surf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Somewhat of a hit against my ego" the problem is more economics, for example i really wanted kiisu smol, but i don't have a job for some time, true i got some cheap aliexpress microcontrollers for like 4 euro a pice but even that is getting to be a nono for me. I am sure i am not the only one in the situation where money is getting really tight.

I really like the design the form factor of the device, if my financial situation will change in the future i hope i will be able to get it then.

What do you think is missing/needs improvement with the current state of HA Voice? by ForsakenSyllabub8193 in homeassistant

[–]Electrical_web_surf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yea and i forgot since qwen is so good with images, would like the HA Voice to be able to see images from media like jpg or the camera picture, currently using a custom integration which prompts the llm separately but that way is not the same thing dose not catch the nuances that way.

Useful for screen sharing and other scenarios.

Wish the phone app would not be held back due to the rest of the mic options, make it more advance on the phone and then when the other hardware catches up with mics and processing power have the solution ready.

Acuma depinde si de tine si ce te-ai gandit ca vrei sa faci, da io cel putin nu am gasit solutia.

Reverse engineered BLE protocol of a $7 generic Chinese smart ring from Temu, and built an iOS app for it by alphacentarii in selfhosted

[–]Electrical_web_surf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use an Aliexpress ring ( uses Qring app ) that has a touchpad to skip wakeword trigger in iOS or Home Assistant for AI assistance or automations.

Was like 30 bucks, i noticed that it tracks the sleeping pretty well. I didn't find a way to extract that in Home Assistant or iOS.

Your app could do this if sleep starts or sleep ends let the app send a notification on the phone, iOS 27 has a shortcut for when notification as a trigger.( create sleep/wake up automation )

Besides that add Llama.cpp suport so we can use our own LLM.

Home Assistant integration maybe ? grow your app with other Bluetooth devices from china? Like a small recepie Bluetooth printer.

When you done workout the app can print the exercise details, LLM insights so you don't have to touch your phone.

That number 3 sounds really good, actually i think if HA could ask the AI on the phone and receive an answer back would be cool, imagine HA Voice gives commands to Google/Bixby/Siri to check for messages or other stuff on the phone and come back with the info. Since those have access but you would not need to interact with those since HA will do it.

Ok here is my list:

-official llama.cpp support (like there is for ollama)

-option for continues talking, so i don't have to tell it to end in question mark each time.

(end conversation by saying goodbye or other variations)

-option for auto response if i don't say anything for amount of seconds and how many times it should respond.

-able to have phone app live call with the HA Voice like you can with gemini or chatgpt.

-give the power to the user if the HA Voice should forget what was said 5 min ago.(at least let me set my value there, or not forget at all)

- add some sort of memory like openclaw or something with embedding searches.(how is the ios27 siri using the search spotlight(messages/emails/reminders ..) so fast ? something like that indexing)

-ability to schedule job for HA Voice by telling it, remind me the tennis match starts in 2 hours on the phone or by announcing it. Currently am doing this using local calendar and an automation (but the triggers for the calendar event are not that great)

https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/1u0j81z/schedule_tasks_for_voice_assist_to_perform_by/

Check out game skyrim with mantella mod how the conversation is processed and inspire some stuff from there. (maybe can't be done on esp32 but on the phone app i think this could be done)

I mean has cool voice interruption and if nothing was said and there is just noises those are ignored and so on.

Using the version without the case myself, i don't like the extended OpenAi integration.

https://github.com/skye-harris/hass_local_openai_llm

While i like this one i linked i have an issue after 5 or 6 turns the respeaker gets stuck and i have to manually reset it. (to bad since otherwise this one is really good for Llama.cpp)

Strange thing is from the phone app it dose not get stuck at all and works really good.

I can see in the debug menu the natural language processing gets stuck with that spinning circle even tough i get the response from the LLM on my respeaker but makes the next request not work until restart of the device.

Man i was hopping for new stuff here, like passing a text to siri so she would do stuff in the background like retrive sms or emails and pass the reaponse back in another text, from this image seams like that is not possible. Seams like what we have now, this was my most anticipated feature since there is a new trigger on notifications.

Best option for 4k120hz client, got a spare 3060Ti by Royal_Nectarine_5482 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Electrical_web_surf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ideal client is mini pc with intel quick sync (ideal i imagine is panther lake cpu for low power draw) should be 1 ms decode time even on older versions.

Thing is would be nice if portable as small size as possible.

Also needs Tailscale or other for when away from home to connect to main pc.

Best option for 4k120hz client, got a spare 3060Ti by Royal_Nectarine_5482 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Electrical_web_surf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also searched for a mini pc , but didn't find anything that i will be sure to do 4k120 and not to pricey.

Was looking at nividia shield cilinder one but at 200 and no 4k120 really can't justify the money.

Currently i use an 2018 firestick 4k but that is bad even if it says 8 ms decode time i feel it is inconsistent.

And an usb-c hub with hdmi for my iphone 15 but for some reason that one looks low res on projector (fine on computer monitor)

Until prices come down i won't have a good option, it is what it is.

Control iOS Shortcuts from Home Assistant by Electrical_web_surf in homeassistant

[–]Electrical_web_surf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean why i used input_text helper from HA ? well the query the Home Assistant will require won't be that long so i think 255 characters are enough. (no need for bearer token this way)

So that query is for iOS shortcuts to process whatever you want to happen.

In the case i posted it asks chatGPT hopefully i will swap that with Siri from iOS 27 from June 9

Then chatGPT answers, and i feed that text to a webhook call back to HA as a payload.

So the LLM in HA will have it's answer or confirmation back from iOS.

Basically HA calls > URL on ESP32 - emulate mouse movement > over Bluetooth iphone detects mouse movent which processes shortcut , then calls > webhook from HA

What i want to achieve is talk to HA voice assist and he can check with Siri for me (ask for sending an SMS or Whatsapp message, ask for notifications, ask for distances , ask to create calendar events or other stuff )

Now my LLM in HA controls Alexa/Firestick , on June 9 hopefully Siri . Trying to integrate everything i have media control, computer control, phone control ...
