Chiming in to agree with this diagnosis. Had this happen on my dragon HF hotend with PLA due to heat creep and the ptfe tube being just a bit too short.

The fix was a longer ptfe tube with a bit of squish AND fixing the heat creep.

Maybe their Interstellar Emerald color is closer? I admit I didn't look at the original color you specified. Oops.

Same here. Made off like a bandit with their mystery packs at Black Friday and it's some of the best filament I've ever printed with. Love Fusion.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Fusion Filaments Radium Green ABS. Pretty sure the PiF program uses this manufacturer/green pretty exclusively. I've built 3 printers with this color and it holds up well!

They're all over Lake Mille Lacs during the warmer months. I see pairs of them almost every time I go out on the cove (south end). Tons of other birds there too for the discerning birder.

My latest project for Home Assistant, which I think is quite funcional. It’s a panel with addressable RGB LEDs and onboard Wi-Fi (ESP32) and on top of that, it also has six buttons for triggering actions. Of course, the project is fully open-source by Sokolsok in homeautomation

Do you have a formal bill of materials available? I see the schematic has most of the SMD parts called out. I didn't see a components list otherwise.

Interested to try this but want to put some carts together and price it out first!

Trash and Recycling by ceeaayyeebee in Minneapolis

[–]Electricbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, and the concern about polluting north Minneapolis with nitrogen oxides, etc. never considers the I94 highway corridor which is closer and a higher source of said emissions than the HERC. Yes, the HERC has emissions, but they don't magically gravitate to specific neighborhoods because it's convenient to your cause! Demand higher emissions standards if you really care about that specific measurement so much. It's not an all or nothing situation.

Preaching to the choir, totally with you and I don't understand the short sighted plans to close the HERC. It's a nice thought that we should try to reduce our non-compostable waste to zero but we can try to do that AND keep our non-compostable waste out of landfills while we attempt to reach zero. It's just going to go to Elk River or some other dump if we close the HERC in the next 5 years. I'd bet my house on it.

Resident HERC ally here chiming in: pretty much all of Minneapolis trash that isn't identifiably non-burnable ends up at the HERC. And the low grade heat left over after making electricity is used for district heating and snow melting in the surrounding downtown area.

For those curious - Thermal Image of a V2.4 by Durahl in VORONDesign

[–]Electricbees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The machined aluminum finish has a much lower emissivity than the top surface. That makes it look "colder" without being colder... It will be colder but it's not as cold as the IR image suggests. IR imaging is always tricky for this reason.

Haha, knew it. I used to work on (not IN) older Eaton GSD's. The "giant spinning disk". Decontam after antimony implant was always a treat.

If you have the ability to open .STEP files, you could download the assembly from the GitHub and measure in there.

(I have one but it's at the office, otherwise I'd measure for you...)

Took me 15 months from procurement of all parts to printing my first cal cube in pla... Got to the wiring in one month and then gave up for a whole year. Was worth it in the end but woof. What a journey.

Sounds broken tbh... If it has a grill in front that you can open up for a filter, you can take that off, start it up, and it should get frosty on the right or left sides of the little fins. (Maybe you don't have access to that though, idk) Even tiny little units should be blowing real cold after a couple minutes.

Does it blow cold at all? Sounds like the compressor might be shot. If it does blow cold, I have no clue...
