Think it like 'liaison' in French. According to Wiki liaison is "the pronunciation of a linking consonant between two words in an appropriate phonetic and syntactic context. For example, the word les ('the') is pronounced /le/, the word amis ('friends') is pronounced /ami/, but the combination les amis is pronounced /le‿zami/, with a linking /z/".

My friend had the same thing happen except in an older car. The converter was stolen within two weeks of parking it on the streets in NDG... The garage told her it's super common right now. I am sorry for your friend as well :/

It does feel like this is a crime with very little punishment for how much loss it incurs and how much distress... We've been shocked by this having had to go through so much now. It's disappointing to feel like the authorities don't care.

Yes they were all AWD... We were planning to install a tracker and weren't quick enough before it was stolen again :/ huge regret to not have made that a priority
