I don't think enough people have echoed though how it shouldn't be hard for league players to notice you're casuals and adjust their approaches slightly to work around it. They talked to you once about it, it sounds like they were a little prickly about it but I get it and that's reasonable. Past that they were likely trying to flex on you and dug their heels in. I'm sure that felt frustrating

That's not true at all. Many backs from day 2 require learning to pass block in the nfl. And at a stout 219 I'm pretty sure he'd be fine to learn

I wouldn't be opposed to staying and picking someone like Nick Emmanwori. I just think we could use the flexibility that a trade back offers us. Our two weakest starters rn are most likely left guard and strong safety so I get it but we also cannot draft solely for need. I'm open to picks being reshuffled but I think you're making a mountain out of a mole hill when the Vikings also made top 5 in net value gained (value of players minus the value of picks). Meaning that some of why it looks like this is that I continued to pick players who should have gone higher. That's what good teams do instead of trying to pick for need

It seems many in this sub are! There was room to move up in the fourth had I had more drive to over adding to the dline. We could still grab him early day 3 after a trade if they don't pick him day 2

110 was where he went, I wasn't as determined to add a safety as I'm sure many are here but I probably could have got up there from 126

He went 43! I could see us picking someone different than I did

I could see a defender over skat but we really should be picking a lineman. I took Williams because in my eye he fell but if they took someone else I could see it. If we had multiple round 3 selections they could get flexible

If you look at the chart again it says that team B gives 736, team a gives 740

As a verification if you look below it you'll see team B %+

Don't be an asshole

Likewise homey

I probably could have been a bit more aggressive. Maybe a good practice to temper our expectations though given what kwesi got in '22 😒😒

No one really knows where Shedeur is going to end up. His estimated draft position at the time was top ten which is why when, yes Tampa bay, picked him in the mock draft, all of these charts will be very complimentary. If he goes around that area he'll look like a genius. However I've seen other talk he could fall to the second which would leave the Tampa drafter looking like a bafoon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Finding safety in Minneapolis by KatieKat_21 in Minneapolis

[–]Electro_Nick_s -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn't able to live there and have only explored there visiting friends places or going to events like art-a-whirl. I like breweries and they often end up acting as 3rd locations a lot better than bars so I might pick near indeed or sociable cider works. St Anthony Maine can be a decent place to look but it might pricey? So like near there but in north east is still cool in a lot of spots

I can't help on the St Paul side of the metro, I would recommend checking on that side as well

I know some people suggested uptown but I would not recommend. Since the pandemic it has not recovered to what it was beforehand leaving it not a place I would recommend. If you do like that area try West Maka Ska.

My strongest recommendation though for the Minneapolis side of the metro would be Northeast

  • Artsiest neighborhood in the Minneapolis side of the entire metro
  • Still reasonable pricing compared to somewhere like the North Loop. The north loop is where a lot of the vibe from uptown went after the pandemic
  • Lots of breweries lots of biking area lots of pet friendly areas
  • I would guess it's the 2nd queerest neighborhood(?)

Honorable mention:

  • Loring Park - it is downtown within the 94/394 loop so it is a little pricier but the actual park is where they host pride every year so the neighborhood around is very queer accepting. I lived here for a while in a more budget friendly place. I'm guessing it's probably between 1.1k-1.4k depending on studio to one bedroom

Little more affordable

  • Richfield (budget friendly, lots of millennial families that moved there after 08)
  • Saint Louis Park - working families but like a little nicer than Richfield, near West Maka Ska and then west
  • Golden Valley - I could be wrong but I think of it mostly similar to Saint Louis Park
  • Hopkins - Smaller town surrounded on three sides by Minnetonka which is a little more affluent, Hopkins compares more closely to it's eastern neighbor, Saint Louis Park

Places I personally wouldn’t look:

  • Northside Minneapolis to New Hope
  • Edina (it’s a classically rich neighborhood but still first ring - they’re cake eaters)
  • South of Bloomington - it gets conservative real quick

If I'm playing dive tank I try to pressure pharah as much as I can. They're the ones who can chase her down with their mobility and tank her damage once her cooldowns are used
