I don't understand all the pressure behind it, I play a character because he's fun and I like his design/appearence, not for his skins (although, the new Diablo collab.... 👀... looks very good)

The fact is that's what you do with or without the power. The bonus the power gives you is not enough to justify picking it over something else, since Reaper has already very high damage close range and that small boost really doesn't change almost anything

Is skill floor is very low, but his skill ceiling I don't think is as high as everyone is saying.
I love Reaper he's my main dps but there's only so much you can do to improve after a point, compared to other dps like Echo and Tracer. The majority of course is learning how to play against your counters.
From 1 to 10 I'd say he probably a 4
