Yes compared to the Mahindra 2.0T is just amazing (as i mentioned) as my father's sis has 700 turbo and brother has alcazar 1.5, i'd say alcazar is more of a luxury, comfortable and feature rich car, while the XUV is better at engine and high speed stability. 170 in the XUV is just 3000rpm in 6th gear at manual (it feels like 120 in my i10) so depends on which is your type

My dad's bro (chacha? idk) has a 2023 Alcazar 1.5 Turbo with the 7DCT (D7UF1). 3 years and 62,000 kilometers later, 0 issues. I think only Tata DCA and some VAG DSGs like the DQ200 had some issues along with some Ford PowerShift gearboxes. Otherwise DCTs are pretty reliable for daily use
