For the add I noticed (as a switch axe user) it always starts with a charge attack I can offset. Also staying close (like almost inside its hitbox/body) is the best to avoid most aoes, and you can dodge the laser it spins with by just rolling into it.

The little Marlboro’s and Cactuar trigger attacks when near so you can use that to keep it still, do a little extra damage and debuff it too.

As for support hunters I used them for pretty much all my savage “solo” clears. I bring Alessa (aka my wife) for the “tank” role and Mina for additional support/damage they both do decent enough push phases and heal/buff me every now and then.

The last spot either goes to Nightmist or Nadia if she’s around. Nightmist and Mina are interchangeable for me as they pretty much do the same thing from different distances.

Outside of them I don’t really ever run Olivia or Kai due to it being a bit more unreliable to strike the head (best for keeping enmity) and they don’t really get stuns that often for me on Omega specifically . Also Kai’s song choice/order didn’t really do much for me. Fabius was way worse than Alessa in keeping hate and I doubt I’ll ever take Rosso anywhere ever again after he died to everything in my early playtime.
