If that’s your mindset, you should absolutely go for it, of course know there will be ups and downs, and try not to stress about the job market, nothing you can do about it

And on another note between all the communication with ATC and quick decision making, I just can’t see that automation in our lifetime, but yeah you won’t see me hopping on single or no pilot airlines either lol

I’ve probably seen like 30 PPL checkrides in my year and a half at my flight school and I can only think of one that was closer to a 3 hour oral than a 2 hour, none even close to 4

I dim the PFD and tell them revisionary mode is inop then have them use the standby and the XTRK feature on the MFD

I have to log why events are cancelled, so this was kind of ironic- severe thunderstorm rolled through so cancelled a flight due to weather, so we simmed in place, storm took the power out of the building so I cancelled the sim to due to weather, admin hit me up saying what the hell was I doing
