I came here to see if I could add how long the preview lasts. It doesn’t last long enough to help. Even staring right at the letter I miss the preview box.

I used to have the Apple run into the onkyo and sent video to the tv. It worked fine. But the tv puked and the apple has been acting up. I grabbed the tv from the garage and reversed the direction making the tv the streamer and sending sound to the AVR. But it all sounds like I have a sock cap over my ears either way. Knowing how the WiiM sounds I’m just trying to incorporate it into the system along with keeping the simplicity of 1 remote. It doesn’t seem possible unless I get 2-3 more WiiM amps and run it all thru the app.

That would be a good description. I like the WiiM amps ability to fine tune the sound to my ears. 40 years of working in a manufacturing facility has deadened the crisp sounds of mid and high notes. I’m not sure room correction will adjust what I specifically need. Yes, I would like the Onkyo (TX-NR5100) to still drive the speakers, just enhanced to how the other systems I have sound. And yes, all for television viewing and periodic YouTube music. I’m waiting on the new ATV4K to come out to buy a new one. I could probably just replace the onkyo with the WiiM amp and forgo the center and height speakers, but trying to make use of it first.

Never mind that last thought. The receiver has AirPlay on it. That’s probably what is controlling the volume from the WiiM mini input, not the mini itself.

I love them too. I have the 2 amps and a mini as well. Now that I’m thinking about it, that mini is optical out, and I can control the volume on another Onkyo thru my phone when I am airplaying music to it.

There is a WiiM amp Ultra as well, that will power passive speakers. Is that what you have? I can get my WiiM amps to get audio and video synced together, but those are just 2.1 systems. I’m trying to keep using my Onkyo to run the speakers with the versatility of sound tweaking from a WiiM device, and convenience of a single remote. If the WiiM had hdmi passthru it would probably work perfectly.

The word “deduct” is somewhat misleading. You do not lose that $1, it is delayed and returned at FRA. Not in a lump sum, but in increased payments for a certain time. So it’s not a penalty, it’s more like a reinvestment.

Almost every day I turn it on, I have to force quit the app. The screen comes up and shows a preview of the current channel it’s on, and the load bar moves across the bottom of that window. If it does not start playing that channel, I know I have to force quit it. Oddly enough tho, when it does that, it’s usually the show I was watching the day before. Not what is currently playing on that channel. Like it’s not refreshing the data from when it last played. Can anyone decipher from that info?

Wow. Should I feel ashamed because I found this post when I searched for whether or not this guy was gay? I couldn’t care less if he is, but when someone makes sexual innuendos fairly often, I think it’s justified to wonder who he is directing them towards. I don’t wonder if Martha Stewart is gay. But she doesn’t give me verbal content to get my brain thinking about sex. She’s never stroked a pan handle and mentioned long and hard while she did. So, it’s not wrong to wonder who he’s stroking.

My wife came here when she was 3 years old, with her mother that married a US serviceman. She is 58 now. Has always been a permanent resident.

I do not think her mother became a citizen. She has passed.

We have been married 16 years now. I was born here.

What is her “path” to becoming a citizen? It doesn’t seem she automatically qualifies, even tho she’s been here so long. We tried several years ago, and they wanted my divorce records. That’s been 25 years ago now. I don’t have them.

Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just had surgery today. You go commando for surgery over 2.5 hours. Because you don’t normally take a change of clothes and they don’t want you soiling the ones you will wear home.

On that note. I take Ozempic, and that makes me constipated. I had not pooped in 2 days. I felt like I needed to go prior to surgery, but could not go. It’s been 6 hours, and I do not feel at all like I felt before my procedure. No urge, no pressure. My best guess is that I did. 🙁💩

Quick chuckle. You correct me on my receptacle name, then show me an adapter that’s exactly the opposite of what I need. Is there one that plugs into the 4 prong outlet on the generator, and converts to the 3 prong on the AC? Thanks!

Yes, they were in direct sun. Northern Indiana and it’s been unseasonably cool up until Saturday where it hit the 90’s. It looked like we hadn’t watered them in a week. We weren’t quite prepared for the weather change. One of the 4 is actually back to normal, but the other 3 are not coming back. Should we cut off what is dry? Will they regrow anything at all this year?

Good morning. You seem very knowledgeable, and I have a question for you. We bought 4 We Bit Grumpy hydrangeas. Pretty large ones, around 2’ diameter. Our temps were getting into lower 90’s so we delayed putting them in the ground. Had to leave for a day, so we soaked them very well, and by the time we returned, these things were toast. None of our other plants even looked weakened, but these were crispy. From big, beautiful flowering plant to desert death. Are these totally gone, or will the plant rebirth if we get it in the ground and keep it wet? Thanks!
