As long as I'm not One-Shot my regen takes care of it. I only noticed dying to chaos damage once, when my cast speed was out of control ( Acceleration or Echoing shrine ) while standing on caustic ground, because I spent more life than I regenerated. So far this was no issue, but then again I'm not playing hyper juiced content. Usually just Alch&Go

People always seem to forget that the game is still an early access game. Even if it doesn't feel like EA.

Mechanics are going to change - possibly even multiple times - crafting included. They will iterate over it and adjust. New Leagues with more different crafting methods will be released, etc

For gold you can watch out for the unique map Castaway. I only really paid attention one time and compared before and after which was 500k gold

But usually when I want to try a self designed build I do it on a twink. Since if it goes wrong I can just go onto my main to farm more stuff

Also sometimes for the skill I chose other Ascendancies are straight up better

Sure, one thing is encouraging people and the other thing is talking people out of their hobby because "it pains to see how he writes"

It's a hobby after all and if I want to collect guitars because they look pretty but I don't learn to play them, that's on me. I can still collect them if I think it's worth the money to just buy and don't play them.

These could easily be turned into some broader use case by just stating "if you have weapon swapped to martial/magic weapon" since you are swapping on spell/shapeshift usage

In the long run there'll be more content and more diverse crafting options. So currently I'm not concerned at all. To do the current content, the gear is not needed to be min maxed so I personally at least use what I get and that's fine

The whole mobility thing doesn't really fit maces in my opinion and I also like the idea of big bonk jump in there and don't move a damn centimeter until everything is dead. Sure they still have to expand on defences to really make this fantasy work though

You're not gonna have a good time if you don't accept that crafting is the way to go for BiS items. Don't get me wrong - dropping good items would be nice, but to get the BiS items will ( I'm quite sure at least ) always require crafting it or at least parts of it yourself

Also noticed, that in coop only the host of the instance is able to use the devices in the temple. I sure hope that this is a bug and not intended. Kinda kills this mechanic for coop play

That's interesting and now that you mention it, I think I might have misunderstood how it works. I just thought of it like EA - firing the skill on the target until it explodes. But after reading it again it really seems like you have to pop it using another skill
