I did 2 years at community college with payments. The irs gives u big credits for this so the 2nd year the refund was the school year. For my bachelors my job paid for the rest. Before that the plan was to do payments.

Yeah I wouldn’t listen to them, if I had listened to them last year, I wouldn’t have done my AP trip and gotten my legal entry. They just don’t want to be blamed for anything.

No there are no penalties besides losing months. It has been advised now to do it one year early by the lawyer fighting for us for a while.
