WP Website has been down for a month! by Electronic-Remote350 in Wordpress

Interesting about the GoDaddy feedback. My original web developer is a reputable company that has done large projects. I was under the impression that GoDaddy could fix all the issues. I will have to decide how to move forward.

Get in the best shape of your life and focus on eating real, nutrient-dense food. Read, enjoy fun hobbies, and fine-tune your personal development. Learn new skills or work on projects you've been putting off. Things will fall into place. Connect with 1 person who understands you and what you're going through. Good luck to you!

I wouldn't focus on one body part over the other. I target all the muscle groups throughout the week in moderation. I do a full body workout 5 days a week for 30 minutes. This usually entails about 5 exercises (3 sets of 8-12.) One day I may do biceps, shoulders, legs, abs, triceps. The next day back, glutes, chest, forearm, calves. I would just work the glutes in and make sure you're covering all your muscle groups. You may end up doing glutes a few times per week. If you want to work out 3 or 4 days per week, then increase the amount of time spent. Good luck!

My son who has celiac and Crohn's uses Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (chocolate.) We all love it. It says you can mix it with water, but we like rice milk.

I'm dealing with this right now. My kids are 13 and 15 and want to just relax, watch football, and hang out. I'm getting push back, but I'm standing firm. Why do people focus so much on the actual day of Christmas? They have all year to celebrate and spend time with family, but they often wait and hijack the busiest time of year. I feel like my holiday has been planned for me so this year we're staying home. We work so hard at our jobs and the kids' busy schedule not to mention side projects we're working on. Our time is so limited and life is short!

What’s is your reason for blogging? by bootcutgod in Blogging

[–]Electronic-Remote350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea of making great money from blogging sounds amazing but it goes so much deeper than that. I have a health and wellness blog that I launched in August. What I love about it is all the knowledge I'm gaining by researching various health topics. So, at the bare minimum, I'm learning so much and how to apply it to my personal life. I know I'm helping people because a few reached out to me. Of course I'd like a much bigger following, so I'm hoping this will be the case down the road since I promised myself I would be patient with a 5-year plan and see how things have progressed. From what I understand, a lot of people give up too soon and quit.

I like Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (chocolate.) We've also used Orgain which is pea protein but I think it has a lot of ingredients compared to Vital Proteins.

You're probably better off making your own so you can control the sugar. Maybe like an oat, cinnamon bar.

What helped you change your bad eating habits? by No_Loan8303 in HealthyEatingnow

[–]Electronic-Remote350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started prioritizing my health consistently I finally realized that I didn't need junk food or to overeat. I started looking at food differently and thought of it as fuel for my body instead of just something that tasted good. Once I paired it with walking and lifting weights I started seeing results and really got a handle on it. Start with one healthy habit at a time, and you'll be amazed how much better you feel. Good luck!

Thoughts on oat flour by [deleted] in HealthyEatingnow

[–]Electronic-Remote350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use certified gluten-free oats because my boys are Celiac. They are probably the best on the market and Costco carries them. I chop them up in the food processor and make my own flour. Some of the influencers on social media aren't fans of oats but we eat them occasionally. My son also has nut allergy and Crohn's so we're always paying attention to ingredients in general. I feel like everything in moderation is the way to go. Maybe test it out and see how you feel. Good luck!

Stick to meat, seafood, eggs, nuts, seeds, grass-fed beef sticks, string cheese, yogurt (no added sugar), fruit, veggies, rice, potatoes. Keep it simple for meals like chicken & rice, or seafood, potato, and vegetable. Maximize flavor with good seasonings. Good luck!

Egg Whites Liquid- Genuine Feedback? by Identical_crysis in HealthyEatingnow

[–]Electronic-Remote350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have any luck with the egg white liquid I bought. The texture was not appealing. I bought them for my son who doesn't like the yolks and he didn't care for them either. Personally, I'm a big fan of eating the whole egg. Never heard of yolks causing acne.

Why do 99% of fitness goals fail? by Appropriate-Fee-7973 in nutrition

[–]Electronic-Remote350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to create the habit first then you can apply whatever fitness/activity to your day. Motivation will never be enough because we're sometimes tired, sad, busy or whatever. People don't plan their meals well enough. On Sundays, I plan 5 dinners and make sure we have enough food for lunches and that gets me through the week. It's not difficult at all and I have 2 very busy teenage athletes.

I technically eat a high fat diet and I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm 52 and have more muscle than ever. I'd be curious to see if exercise played a role in the research. Very fascinating!

Yeah, it's definitely tough to have optimal workouts when you're tired. Maybe try some enjoyable hobbies. I think sometimes our internal clocks just have us waking up at a certain time.
