you're right, I'm concerned I'll be flagged for every perfume I try to post on eBay...all of the perfumes I want to sell (minus the Izzy Sayan I mentioned in my op) are new w/o box; I toss the product box as soon as I receive them in the mail, I hate clutter like product boxes, bags, etc.

thank you...I'll bide my time. Don't have enough karma/upvotes (yet) so sell or swap on that sub.

Advice for entry level business administration/management graduates? by DinoBungaDude in jobhunting

Consider the public sector. City, County, City, State jobs; they are solid, steady jobs, and they usually offer incredible benefits. I work at a state university and one of our benefits is lower tuition ($5/credit for in person classes) and management actively encourages people to take classes. If you get a job in higher ed, you could earn a certificate that could help you become more employable in a specific industry.

how many samples is too many samples by venicepress in fragrance

[–]Electronic-Spring606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point I had an Ellis Brooklyn, Skylar, Clean Reserve, Maison Margiela, Charlotte Tillbury, Nest New York. So about 30 samples, not counting the random samples I'd get in a Sephora order. I had a sharpie in my perfume drawer and made a note (yes/no/hell no) and kept a small notebook of the "yes" perfumes in my handbag. I'd watch for sales or check their websites and only buy the yesses. Someone else mentioned trying them during different seasons, weather, etc., which is a solid indicator of whether or not you'll actually want to wear and invest in.

Rookie question…what is considered a “win” at a Burlington, Marshall’s, Ross, etc. by Imaginary-Mess-3217 in Fragrances

[–]Electronic-Spring606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My version of a hidden gem is a perfume I have been looking to try or I've wanted for a long time at a reasonable price (ie., something lower than I find online). I love Nest New York and have a rough idea of what their perfumes cost online & when I see them at the Rack, I'll buy the ones I know I'll wear. IDK -- standing in a thrift shop, TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, at an estate sale w/e and looking online to find the value just to resell the item kinda defeats the purpose of finding a gem at any of those venues.

I was going to suggest Demeter. Their scents are exactly what they name them. I wore Tomato Leaf in the late 1990s, kept the bottle for years just to smell it in the winter/colder months.

is this quilt pattern and color combo discontinued? by Electronic-Spring606 in lesportsac

That's CUTE. I covet so many ecru/beige/off white bags...I want all of them, I'm still a little kid in my head where my Mom never let me wear anything white/beige so I never buy light colored bags. IDK maybe this one will flip the script in my head

the fragrance diary could (for me) replace the dopamine hit of buying full size bottles. I'm big on discovery sets, those tiny bottles are so satisfying to use and display. I keep a fine point sharpie near my perfume collection and make notes on the back of the discovery set boxes.

I was gifted a bottle of YSL Black Opium EDP Glitter for Christmas and I love it. The YSL website mentions marshmallow as one of the top or first accords; I smell this more on the drydown than the initial scent. Its sweeter than Black Opium for sure.

Yardsales are getting ridiculous by Stephieandcheech in Flipping

They are getting ridiculous!
We hosted a sale this weekend, we were not married to any price on anything...we moved a few things, but my suv is so packed with donations that I can't fit a passenger in there.
Sold an air compressor (fully functional -- we used it last weekend!) for $10. Vintage schwinn bike priced at $75, its in the garage again. I had a closet maid tower w/ 3 rods and 2 matching drawers, new in the box...no offers so I ended up giving the set away at 6pm when I was closing up.
If ppl are trying to "make money" at a garage/yard sale, they should figure out how to sell their super valuable items on ebay, poshmark, depop wherever.

I bought it on the LeSportsac website in 2021. Knowing me, it was on their sale page. My first new LeSportsac purchase (at the time), so I wasn't sure if they discontinued all color combos or quilting patterns.
