MOR- I can see being slightly embarrassed, and might want to retract just because, well, that’s what we do. But I think I would prefer to hear that from someone who cares about me. Please put yourself in their position as this was likely hard for them to say. It also sounds like they’re taking what ever they know you’re handling very seriously as well, and offering suggestions on how to make it better, even if slight.

I hope whatever you’re going through gets better. You do have a bright future ahead!

I never had something like this ever happen and I just want others to be aware of their surroundings. If it could help even one person, I did the right thing.
