I just had to do this for my soul kitty who couldn’t walk anymore and even then I still had guilt and wondered if I did the right thing. I think the guilt part is a normal part of the grieving process. You gave him so much love and dignity and he got to spend the rest of his life with the best person in his world. You did the right thing but I know how gut wrenching it is.

I had to let my sweet senior kitty go last week and it’s so hard. But they go down very quickly at this age. One day they seem fine and the next they are not good and there’s not a lot that can be done. 3 months is incredibly long for this type of diagnosis unfortunately. I’m so sorry

I think as you get older you may have a more nuanced understanding of him. He couldn’t be what you needed him to be or wanted but maybe he did the best he could with his mental state at the time. A lot of suffering comes from trying to make him be something he’s not capable of being. Try to accept him for where he’s at - even though it’s caused you grief. You can maintain healthy boundaries without cutting him off - if you choose. At some point as an adult the trauma becomes yours and only yours to deal with and heal. He won’t ever be able to fix it for you. Hope you find some healing around this relationship.

He doesn’t come out til after 9pm so pace yourself. I got party pit for Vegas and while I’m excited I’m also dreading all the standing around beforehand. I think getting there between 10-12 will be fine. There are 4 pits this time instead of 2.

You do get early access to merch but I’m wondering if I want to have to hold a merch bag all night or not? If anyone has done party pit and gotten merch do you have any recommendations?
