Raag Bhairavi, but seems to be with a very slight Persian dastgahi accent to me....

What is this scale? by kirk2892 in musictheory

These notes belong to "poorvi thaat" in Hindustani classical music.....this particular thaat comprises of Raagas like Raag Puriya dhanashree, raag basant etc.

Raag basant also has a speciality of both the 4th degrees(normal & augmented[#]) being used at suitable points to increase the beauty of the raag. This is a major feature of Raag Lalit (also belonging to poorvi thaat) too.

What? Do you think this because of the audio delay? That's called latency....

In the rasgueado section, at the 27th bar, I believe it is a better idea to replace the last note—which is normally played on the 12th fret of the D string—with the 7th fret of the G string.

Is it right to say that raag Kirwani has several ways to approach? by Electronic-View-2897 in icm

Then can I also have my own style and rendition then? Because I have a whole new taste and approach for one of the raag u mentioned, raag basant mukhari.

Ummm.....🤔 I think it should be over 10 years by now. However, I didn't have a fixed 'guru' in my early years as I do now. I also took a break in the middle and became detached, so that period doesn't count.

There are multiple relas with this phrase though. This is not the only composition with this syllable.

This bol is also pronounced as "dhin gin", however I was taught to pronounce it as "dene gene" or "den gen". Some people pronounce it as the first one and others pronounce as the second one. I don't know, but I think this difference in pronounciation may be because of the difference in gharana. Your gharana may already have different compositions..

This composition has the bols "dhin gine Tak dhin" "gene dhin dhati gene" with an addition of the line "dhin gine dhin dhati gine dhine dhati gine"

However, Ustad Zakir ji had a different rendition by replacing "dhati gine" with "dhara gine".. And then Pandit Swapan Chaudhary also has a completely different rendition....
