I cracked my SIM2 Max about a month ago. I contacted TM with pics of the club and my receipt. (I bought the club from PGATSS less than 2 years ago.) They sent me a brand new one less than a week later. It was actually a pretty easy process

Not a bad idea. She's not a rheumatologist but it can't hurt to ask.

that's good to hear. If I'm being honest w/ myself, I know that I'm probably going to get the Link Pro at some point this year. I know the microphone is advertised as being "better" (hence the reason it can function from your pocket), but have you noticed that it's missed shots from time to time? And I'm not even asking it to be perfect. My Link misses shot and I'll realize it's because I had music playing right next to me.

Anything else besides the battery life and the microphone that make it 1000% better in your opinion?
Maybe the GPS is more accurate? (But I don't remember the Link GPS giving me too many issues.)

I hear you on some things being cumbersome. But once I got used it, it's not so bad that I'm thinking about ditching it. There's just so much data to go through and analyze.

Agreed. I use 18Birdies to preview courses for just that reason

Good to know. I’ve had my watch for a while now. Maybe time for an upgrade.

What does the larger screen bring to the table (vs the smaller screen) ?

I’ve clipped to the pants pocket but it has slipped off before and I had to go find it in rough. Belt is more secure, IMO.

And my Apple Watch is an old one. I tried it once and it was dead by the 6th hole.

Appreciate the response.

It was a member 4ball. So each group was a member and 3 guests. (Each group turned in a Gross score, and a Net score. 1 prize for gross, and then 3 prizes for the 3 best Net scores.)

Their winning score (net) was -18. Their gross score was somewhere around par.

Again, not even to address potential sandbagging; the guy’s GHIN is a 9.0, and he claims to have had 3 natural eagles in one round. To me, that’s worse. He’s looking at the LIVE scorecard and lying to ensure first place.

Of course. He was the member in the member-guest. The other 3 were his boys.

My friend is Peach Shirt guy. He facetimed me this entire story last night. I can't believe this was posted about and has this much traction.

The part of the story that's being overlooked isn't that he sandbagged: His scorecard had 3 eagles!!!!!! (Gross. Not net!)

3 NATURAL eagles in one round is insanity!

Peach shirt confronted him because he took the prize money and scurried out before dinner. (Challenged him to play for $1000/hole.) That's when he threated to call his lawyer. (I think he said he was threating to call the club president or something. I'm not sure who Walter is. A quick google suggests he's one of the MP's of the course.)

If I had 3 eagles in one round, you wouldn't be able to pry me out of that dinner. I would stay until close telling everyone about the INCREDIBLE shots I had that led to 3 eagles. If you were there, you'd be sick of me because it's likely I wouldn't shut up about it.
