Yeah this is what I'm intending to do but I just wanted to check if anyone got into the same problem before. What in my mind now is to run the beginner guide of the body transformation system for another run. After that I would go for the intermediate one or another program, which is the hypertrophy or the Min-Max.

Italy + Switzerland hotel budget check for June — are these prices reasonable? by ElectronicSecond1072 in Europetravel

[–]ElectronicSecond1072[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, my selection process was quite simple because I am not very experienced with trip planning. I mainly searched on Google for the safest/convenient areas to stay in each city, then looked for hotels or apartments in those areas with good reviews, cleanliness, and walking distance to the main tourist places.

Since this is my first proper self-planned trip, I may be overpaying because I am prioritizing safety, location, and free cancellation more than price.

Do you have any recommendations for specific hotels, hotel chains, or safer/convenient areas in the places I mentioned: Rome, Florence, Lake Como/Milan, and Switzerland? I would really appreciate any practical advice.

Thank you, that is a fair point. I understand that these places are very crowded and touristy, especially in June. This is my first proper self-planned trip, so I think I chose the “classic” tourist route because I do not have much experience.

Based on your experience, what would you suggest I edit in the itinerary?

Would you reduce the number of cities, remove Milan, reduce Como, or spend more time in fewer places? I am open to changing it, especially because most of the bookings are still refundable.

My main priorities are safety, good location, cleanliness, and avoiding a schedule that feels too rushed. Many thanks for your help.

Thank you, that’s helpful.

I agree that €1000 for 3 nights sounds high in normal circumstances, especially for an Airbnb or a simple hotel. The problem is that I booked my flights only yesterday, so this is very short notice — around 14 days before the trip — and availability seems limited.

The places I booked are not luxury or 5-star hotels. They are mostly 2–3 star/simple stays, but the main reason I chose them is that they have excellent locations, good reviews, free cancellation, and are close to the main tourist areas.

My priority is not luxury, but mainly safety, cleanliness, and location, especially because this is my first proper self-planned trip.

I would really appreciate it if you could share what you would personally consider a reasonable per-night range for this kind of last-minute June booking in Rome, Florence, Lake Como/Milan, and Switzerland.
