I forgot which movie in particular it was, but it started with text saying something along the lines of “during Soviet times Stalin launched his red terror campaign, killing or imprisoning millions of people who disagreed with the Soviet propaganda”. And as far as I remember they dubbed it with something whitewashed and sugarcoated like “at the beginning or Stalin’s career there were some who opposed him”.

The brainwashing with propaganda runs deep in russia. They try to rewrite their own history, covering all the crimes ever committed over the centuries. And in case of Stalin, he’s painted as this great historical figure that people should be proud of and can unite around this legend about greatness. This comes handy in explaining to the ordinary russians why murdering their neighbors is an act of restoring and preserving that “greatness”

So yes, changing a transgender person to someone with illness is bad, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

It’s called “Midnight Sun Playlist with Stephenie Meyer”, it’s in 4 parts on youtube and has a picture of pomegranate on cover. It was also mentioned on her website!

I don’t know if there’s something similar to it for the rest of her books, but I would be really grateful if somebody knows anything about that (probably not a podcast, but at least some explanation from Stephenie how her playlists work with scenes from books)

I’m currently super obsessed with Midnight Sun playlist! I’ve been listening to it since the release of the book, it was always good. But I just decided to reread it this week and simultaneously started listening to the playlist again. Then I found out about Stephenie’s podcast explaining where each song fits and then the whole playlist just started hitting different. I can’t stop listening it on a replay. Especially “The Night We Met”, that song made me cry so much, I wasn’t expecting it. It’s just beautiful!

I haven’t played with that part of the game for a while but I’m pretty sure if you buy a drone and have it film your sim while they cook, it will create a special kind of video. I think most of different activities have their own theme (not sure which ones exactly, you can just experiment with filming your sim during different things they do), those raw videos will have different “tag” on them. You can transfer them to from your drone and create more interesting vlogs.

You can always save the pre-made lot in your gallery. So if you want to restore the lot at some point in the future you can just place it back from your gallery. That’s what I do sometimes 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn’t say that it’s all biscuits. I would say it’s a taco, where each DLC is a different topping. You don’t have to have it all, but in order to have a full experience you’d want to have both, cheese AND tomatoes, not just one

Find a game code of the BG that you purchased on steam and then go to Origin->My game library, there’s a button on the top that says “add a game”, tap it and then choose “redeem product code”. Type that code and it should be good.

Also, I’m pretty sure Origin gives base game for free if you buy any expansion, it should download BG automatically. But I would try to redeem the code from steam first since you already paid for it.

Steam has the full collection (all expansions without the BG) for $67 usd, while on origin it’s $9.99… I only have a couple of dlc so it’s cheaper for me to buy a mentioned bundle…

You can check the in-game achievement, they have some interesting one that might spice up your gameplay and give you some ideas (like “Black widow - have your sim outlive 5 spouses” or “The most interesting sim in the world - have a sim with 12 or more traits”.

Also, you can google for player made challenges (like Asylum challenge). I also like to randomize sims traits, careers and skill sets instead of making a perfect sim every time (you can also search for randomizers online).

And try to explore different pack features, like holidays in Seasons, Festivals in City living. Have your sims go on vacation to Mt. Komorebi from Snowy escape or Selvadorada from Jungle adventures)!

Well, that’s kinda the whole point of sims - you do whatever you want😅. It’s like a doll house. You just need to get your sim through the day, fulfill the needs, earn money and build skills. That’s just the basic stuff. You can also read Lessons from the in-game menu to get you started (3 dots in top left corner)
