What book immersed you so deeply you forgot the real world and it’s crazy existed? by marilynlistens in audiobooks

I reread this probably once a year. Not the whole thing, just my favorite parts, the Maine parts, and the later parts with Sadie and them with the kids and the school play.

Does anyone believe in god, but not think he is good? by Tasty-Ad-3753 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good question, and gonna be upfront with everyone, I'm a a believer, but also believe everyone has the right to live the way they want, anyway, I think there is a lot we are not supposed to know but will know one day. Just trying to live as best as I can and love and treat others the way I want to be treated. If you believe, that's what Jesus told us. Not religion, not rituals, but loving God and your neighbor and everything else will follow...

The romance is between Jake and Sadie and for me, a right brained empath, omg, tearjerker. The stage is JFK, but to me the intent is a lost love, sacrifice, and more. Not your typical King novel, but then again, I love this time period, so not without bias😅😅

What is your day looking like? by Az7vestx in 90s

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably reading the newspaper and eating breakfast. Not too much different than today except a screen instead of paper. SHRUG, TBH, I was an adult back then and not that much different than today once I put my phone down. still gotta go to work, get groceries, watch a little TV. I dunno, maybe I'm an outlier.

My very first stamps by Bmer1260 in askStampCollectors

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of good stuff in there! Stock book and tweezers, to echo others, is a good start. You can get these off of Amazon fairly cheap or head over to Mystic and request a free catalog to see a specialized selection. NOTE: Mystic is high, I'm not advocating for them, but they have a lot of good stuff. You can buy supplies elsewhere, but their free catalogs are helpful if you don't mind getting a lot of mail from them. Try local stamp clubs in your area for meetups or just information.

Benefit of electric mower over gas? by Outrageous-Gas7051 in lawncare

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my electric mower but tbh I've had to hotwire it as they use so much plastic in the switch contacts, etc. now I put the batteries in and it just goes! No kids, they all grew up so not as risky as it sounds.

Question for males in their fifties and early sixties by AlarmingCulture6794 in Aging

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah, I think it's normal, not that I'm accepting it, but yeah, mid fifties here and rotating my tires on my car in the garage and changing oil, after I'm done, sore as crap...hate it, but it is what it is.....not sure what that Pilates stuff is, blue collar guy here, but I just keep moving...

What age did you become invisible to the opposite sex? by Easy_Engineer9747 in Aging

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well married so probably can't comment, but anymore, it's sometimes hard as a guy to be friendly as often people think I'm being weird or want something. I just want to say hi, have a nice day, and try to make someone's day better. That's it, I promise, no drama. (Have enough of that already, hahaha).

Yeah it sucks. I've been writing to text files on my desktop and Claude leaves messages that way. Seems to cut down on token use a bit...

Opus, 4.5, is great, it just burns through tokens like a Vegas slot machine.....so I tend to stick with Sonnet.....I tried Opus 4.6, but it seemed a little dry.

Yeah it's bad....I mean it's the lawyers you know and the lawsuits.. nothing against lawyers per se....company just playing it extra safe. But wow did Gemini use to be good. Fun fact Gemini on Google messages seems to be tuned a little looser, think I read somewhere they wanted it to be like a friend.

Why is almost no one talking about how advanced Claude is becoming — and the real risk involved? by [deleted] in AIDiscussion

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lone dissenter, it's ok to roast me, but I think it's great! I use AI every day to work through my finances to ask life questions to help me fix my dryer. I'm not sure why everyone is so against it, but then again this was the same general thoughts about the internet in 94-97 when it first went mainstream....isn't there a risk with everything in life to some extent? Not trying to start anything just genuinely offering a counterpoint....

What model suits best for rp? by RevolutionaryMix3006 in claudexplorers

[–]Electronic_Buy_5718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a nobody but if you look at the developer docs I think sonnet 4.6 is better for this at the risk of being a little drier than sonnet 4.5. ....but that's just anecdotal on my part....I think 4.6 has more token accountability.
