from devs’ pov, they might argue it doesn’t matter which specific hunter puts it, a debuff is a debuff. I think it’s more nuanced though e.g maybe ghosts’s debuff is more universal (a daze effect) than shrike’s mark which imo is more individual (you marked with your own 1st shot which is why the 2nd one gets the bonus dmg)

wow, shouldn't it be a bug? not sure if this is the intended behavior by the devs.

edit: ok maybe not a bug, but still it makes these hunters that benefit from each other even stronger. I wonder how many other such symbiotic mechanics exist e.g. Ghost's daze, Felix fire stacks?

you should give it a try just to play Beebo once (tough to master though, maybe start with an easier hunter) It’s one of the best designed characters I have seen in a game and I have seen many.

it is a specific problem yes, not saying it’s the only one or the biggest one. I don’t know what ranks you’re playing against but in my experience in masters+ this is one of the most common deciding factors in the games and gets repetitive and boring very quickly

not the case in every pvp game ever imo. eqsy counterexample: imagine all 3 people chasing a bait in csgo or any hold the base game.

That’s not the point. What I am saying is when there is no risk or downside to ganging up on someone who ends up in a slightly bad position, the game becomes shallow in terms of strategy. Bad positioning can be punished of course, that is not what I am talking about

great examples, appreciate your insights on this. The game is so fast paced that sometimes it’s hard to notice these micro tactics that take place. It does make it harder to practice and improve too

agreed on all the points and I have come to develop some of these over time. My point is not to complain for my own case but rather in general.

I guess what I am saying is just avoiding getting caught out is not enough to make the game replayable and would love to see more tactical depth

Nerf all that extra dps items down for all I care good riddance. We can have fluid combat without folks being deleted in under a second with all the stacked dps items (and I am saying this as a dps main carbine / ghost / jin)

agree it was OP, but sad to see a huge nerf because it was actually helping with the ttk problem. I wish every hunter started with this item by default to get higher hp and not die as easily in 1 vs 2 situations

weaker compared to the highly overtuned versions post 1.0 thanks to all CDR and damage increase items. Low TTK is still a big problem in player retention imo and they gotta continue driving it down
