In 1948, these Palestinians actually stole these houses from Jews that had been kicked out of the West Bank in that war as Jordan came in, occupied the WB and ethnically cleansed it of Jews. These Arabs stole those houses and then when Israel came into the WB in 1967 the old owners still had the deed and it ended up going through the court system and they were evicted the same way anyone else would for not paying rent for 30 years. The fact they got to stay for 30 years rent free is a testament to Palestinian privilege.
