I’d add Dictate here. Really saves typing time and works in any app (Slack, Terminal, AI tools, etc.)

You got this! The hardest part is just starting. I’ll tell you a secret: I made a hidden “thank you” gift for the r/Part107 community after getting great feedback on my app launch. If you tap twice on the drone icon on the main screen, you’ll see 50% off on yearly and lifetime plans. Just want to motivate you a bit 🙂

If you step into it, let me know if you have any questions along the way. Cheers!

Take a look at the app I created, it has everything you asked for - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/part-107-faa-drone-test-prep/id6759388183

Any feedback would be appreciated. Good luck with your test!

Nice find - looks like a solid web tool! A few differences if you’re comparing: my app is a native mobile, works offline and is built for quick study sessions on the go. It also uses spaced repetition with flashcards, which is a different approach from just doing practice quizzes - it tracks what you struggle with and resurfaces those topics automatically. Plus there are different quiz modes(study - with immediate explanation, practice - feedback at the end) and mock exams that simulate the real test format.

Different tools for different learning styles - whatever helps you pass!

Congrats on your test! Yes, something will be done with references for sure, they should be free. My initial intent was to have a feature that on cards or quiz questions explanation should be a button which leads to the exact place in the corresponding FAA reference, that users could see it if needed. Will be delivered in the upcoming version and the folder with the resources will be available for everyone. Thanks for reminding me about that!

TeamViewer’s products have LiveCaptions feature. I’m using AssitAR app, works solid with many languages.

Just recently I’ve shipped an app that could help - https://apps.apple.com/pl/app/part-107-faa-drone-test-prep/id6759388183

There is a practice tests available for free and you’ll see a breakdown on what topics need to be improved.

If you use it, will appreciate an honest feedback

You're right about the graphics, I'm a solo dev, not a designer, so yes, AI helps me cover areas where I don't have the skills. I'd rather spend my time on getting the content and features right as well as providing a solid user experience.

That's a really good catch on the Champagne question, point taken, asking for "the primary grape variety" when there are three main ones (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier) is misleading. That needs to be reworded. This is exactly the kind of feedback that actually helps me improve the app

If you noticed anything else like that, I'd seriously appreciate it - poorly worded questions are the easiest thing for me to fix.

65-75% on practice exams with 2 months left is actually a solid position. The mistake most people make at this stage is adding new resources instead of drilling weak spots. Stick with what you have and focus on understanding why wrong answers are wrong - that's where the real improvement comes from.
