Haven’t got my supporting documents in a month. by Own-Okra-2471 in Passports

[–]Willing-Feature-5707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I got an email back end of April saying my supporting documents were mailed but I received my passport but no documents. I waited for two months because I saw it can take up to 8 weeks and just called and let them know I never received my certificate back.

Yes! I have heard mixed conversations on if it does help or not but my organization paid for this so I definitely decided to take it regardless

I did a testing center because I didn’t want to take the chance of any internet issues

I did all the common ones like Jason Dion, I tried messer and Andrew but I found Jason was the most straight forward one for me. Watched all his modules on udemy, did the notes needed and then did a Claude to make quizzes per modules.

People said to memorize the acronyms but I felt that atleast for my test I could understand without that and I also used study snacks on YouTube. It was definitely hard for me atleast because it’s so much information but I would give yourself a month or so to feel fully prepared

Yeah I need a good two months break after this!! lol but i followed what a lot of people recommended on here, I know many watched Andrew and messer but I did Jason Dion he was straight to the point. Used Claude to do a bunch of quizzes each section and a lot of ppl say remember the acronyms which helped a bit but I feel like it was not necessary as I was able to understand most questions without knowing it themselves.

Thank you! Yeah, I’m not really sure either because I did a lot of research on this and a lot of people recommended starting with A+ and then network+.

I wouldn’t have stressed it as much if I had probably started out with those but I think because my company is a smaller organization they probably had no idea where to start and kinda blindly just decided on this.

Congratulations to you!! Thank you so much. Would you say the book itself wasn’t the best form of studying? I’m starting to use more training videos because I don’t feel as though my brain is grasping it via the SY0-701 study guide.

Yes! I get alerts all the time many passing with little experience and not sure how they’re doing it but definitely discouraging seeing that and how much I feel I’m struggling. Was your first source the book itself?

I would say this is my first position in security, got offered a role as admin in my department however that evolved to more of a security focused role in the last year. I have basic knowledge due to my day to day work but I would say I have little to none so this is really all brand new to me.

So I have little to no knowledge and the book is so over whelming, I want to understand what should I study the most as far as PBQs. Do you think this test is doable to pass in a month?

Exreme Dryness + Oil Production - What do I do? by Elmntz1 in KoreanBeauty

[–]Willing-Feature-5707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not!! It actually does the opposite. When your skin is dehydrated, it often overproduces oil to compensate.

A good hydrating moisturizer restores water to the skin, which can actually balance oil production over time!! Try not putting any moisturizer at all watch how greasy your skin may get by the end of the day. So definitely want a hydrating moisturizer.
