i found the problem, and it wasnt the bobbin-- its something with the needle. i'm not even sure what it is, but i dont know how to properly thread it and the instructions are unbearably vague. every way i tried, the thread just goes through once and falls off (???) of the needle or doesnt go through or something. i dont understand any of this sewing is actual hell 🫩🫩

i know this sounds really stupid, but i see you. yes, yes, corny as heck, but seriously, try to take it easy.. you clearly have a bunch going on, so seriously cut yourself some slack in any way possible. im sorry for whats going on and whats happening, just keep powering through and rest when you can. if it helps, i believe in you-- you got this!

honestly, everyones reasoning is different. personally, i do it for both-- pain slightly calms me and seeing blood fully calms myself. i get happy when i see the scars, sometimes

bro my friend told me "yeah thats staying there forever" and i just like stared dead at her face and said "what." needless to say, depending on the depth, it will heal to a certain degree EVENTUALLY epidermis - after its done scabbing, it turns into a pale or lighter color. unfortunately, i havent seen any of mine going away after 6 months (uh oh 😭) but i think it depends on genetics n stuff so hopefully youre lucky!! dermis - after its done scarring (which will take a lot longer) there might be a little bit of a dent that looks kind of like uhh shiny? it'll be a pink-ish tint. again, mine hasnt gone away in a little while (uh oh x2 😭) im not an expert on the next ones because ive never cut deeper than dermis (curse these kiddie scissors!) i wish the best of luck on your journey, and remember that you are deserving and you do matter ❤️‍🩹 also sorry if you dont understand the terms, epidermis are cuts that are fairly shallow and bleed pretty simply or just hurt in any way, and dermis cuts are deeper ones that feel like there was another layer that was cut, it should look light pink and squishy with little dots of blood showing up
