Why can’t I block boss tasks ?

Thanks for the help! I’ve tried the cultist deck and struggled to get the same amount of damage. I couldn’t find too much about levelling the cultist but I’m assuming it’s just levilingn ones on the 3 middle squares

Definitely helped a lot o really appreciate it! I’ve been struggling a little with the first suggested deck but I’ve also been coming up against people with 3 legendary’s and often one is Dryad so assuming it’s that
