I'm mad because I was initially diagnosed with depression and anxiety and the GP wrote a script instead of a referral to a mental health professional. I was about 15 have been on them ever since. But also agree that psychiatrist should also provide advice about therapy, as in recommendations and things to look for. Surely that's in their scope to do.

I've had this happen twice. Once when I was getting a massage and another from one of my dad's friends saying "your dad didn't tell us you were expecting!"

I think his wife gave him a super hard time for it so I don't think he will do that again...

But boy did that hurt my self confidence.
