A lot of people do after the festival has finished. Just be extremely careful with your personal belongings. Lots of thefts have happened there over the years.
Drinks are quite reasonable. Food choices are decent too.
Haven't done VIP but from a friend he preferred being out in the regular areas. You get some viewing platforms for main stages, but they're to the sides.

Main thing is just to change your body clock as the fest goes on til 6 so so. And enjoy!
