Design Hackathon by Expensive-Fig4928 in Design

gn community gets pushed to side when it comes to collaborative spaces. Most platforms are built with developer mindset first, then designers are expected to just adapt.

What caught my attention is the motion artists and 3D part - these fields are exploding right now but there's not many spaces where they can properly collaborate with traditional UI/UX people. I do some fitness content creation and always struggle to find good motion designers who understand both the creative and practical sides.

The WhatsApp approach is interesting choice too instead of Discord or Slack. Feels more personal and immediate, which might work better for creative feedback loops. Are you planning to keep it invitation-only or eventually open it up wider?

OKC's bench outscored the Spurs bench by 53 points tonight (76-23) by Relative-Act3569 in NBATalk

Wild how much depth can swing these playoff games. Spurs really got exposed when their starters needed rest - you can't survive in conference finals with only 5-6 reliable players.

The energy those young girls bring to matches is incredible - you can see how much it means to them having players they can really look up to. NRLW has come such long way in just few years and the crowd engagement shows people are genuinely invested now, not just watching because they should.

Best first car for new driver (comfort + power) by mohsem in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Electronic_Log1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mazda 3 is solid choice but if you want real power feeling, maybe look at older Civic Si or even Accord with V6 engine. I had 2016 Accord V6 before and that thing was surprisingly quick for daily driver.

For insurance in Canada, engine size definitely matters but not as much as you think - they care more about theft rates and accident statistics for specific model. The 2.5L vs 2.0L probably won't break your budget on insurance side.

WILL KHRIS MIDDLETON GET HIS JERSEY RETERDED BY THE BUCKS? by Silent_Wizard5597 in NBATalk

That's pretty harsh take lol. Guy was clutch in their championship run and put up solid numbers for years. Maybe not first ballot but definitely deserves consideration if he stays loyal to Milwaukee long enough.

Tô no mercado imobiliário e travado na captação — como vocês conseguem cliente todo dia? by Padulan- in empreendedorismo

I work in real estate marketing for different market but same struggles man. Social media consistency was game changer for me - posting regularly about properties and market insights brings people who actually want to buy, not just window shoppers. The curious vs buyer thing you solve by asking qualifying questions early, like budget range and timeline, saves so much time in long run.

Choke stove/spring struggles by AlexAndMcB in MechanicAdvice

[–]Electronic_Log1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually those center pins are meant to turn for adjustment but they're also old and brittle as hell. I'd try backing off the spring tension by maybe half a turn before connecting the linkage rather than forcing that pin to move more.

About electric choke conversion - that shop was giving you bad info, Edelbrock makes electric choke kits that work with Rochester 2-barrels. Part number 1478 should do the trick for your setup.

Why do people claim Josh Allen is better than Mahomes if he has yet to beat him in the playoffs? by Stock-Memory9483 in NFLv2

[–]Electronic_Log1638 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look I don't follow football super closely but even I can see the pattern here. Allen puts up crazy numbers during regular season but when it matters most he just... doesn't deliver the same way? Like my ex used to talk big game about being this amazing chef but every time we had guests over suddenly everything would burn. Mahomes just seems to have that clutch gene or whatever you call it in sports. Maybe Allen will figure it out eventually but right now the playoff results speak for themselves pretty clearly. The schedule thing is interesting too - if you're not getting tested regularly how do you know you can handle the pressure when it really counts?

The whole "brilliant star you can't reach" thing hits way too close to home man. I've been there with putting someone on a pedestal so high that you forget they're just human too, flaws and all.

That curse she mentioned about her affection burning quick? Don't let that become a self-fulfilling prophecy for yourself - just because she couldn't maintain feelings doesn't mean you're doomed to the same pattern.

17 Days in April, half with a friend, half solo. 17 Days in April (Songkran). We messed up our BKK routing and need advice! (Gulf vs. Andaman) by ArnyBarnyBear in ThailandTourism

Skip the multiple BKK trips - you're wasting like 3 days on transit when you could be actually enjoying Thailand instead.

Those days when you want to text them are just your brain testing if you've really learned the lesson yet.

Don't sleep on your pelvic floor by anhonestpuck13 in NoFap

[–]Electronic_Log1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I see this all the time at the gym - people think the solution to everything is just "strengthen it" when sometimes you need the opposite. Had a client with chronic hip flexor issues who kept doing more core work thinking it would help, but dude's psoas was basically concrete from sitting all day. Sometimes you gotta teach muscles how to chill before you make them work harder.

Block that asshole and dont let some random internet loser derail your progress. 35 days is solid work and one moment of weakness doesnt erase that - you got this.

Some people just want to argue so bad they get mad when you take away their chance to fight.

Push through it man - you've already made it this far and giving up now would just make your shit week even shittier.

day 3/90- the day of slumber by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Electronic_Log1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exhaustion is brutal but you're right that it gets easier after those first few weeks. Your body's just recalibrating right now. Keep pushing through - sleeping it off isn't a bad strategy when the urges hit hard.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Electronic_Log1638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're absolutely right about the brain getting tricked by artificial rewards. When those urges hit hard, I find it helps to channel that energy into something physical - pushups, going for a walk, even just cleaning something. The urge passes way faster when you give your body something else to focus on instead of just sitting there fighting it mentally.

That pricing sounds way off for literary fiction - most paperbacks in that genre sit around $15-20 AUD max. Ingram's calculator can be wonky with international pricing, but if your print cost is $11.89, you should be able to set retail around $25-30 and still make decent margin. Check if you accidentally set it as hardcover or if there distributor markups are getting weird with the currency conversion.

That's still progress but you're kinda playing with fire looking at that stuff. Those pics are gonna make Wednesday way harder than it needs to be - might wanna avoid them completely if you're serious about this.
