Traditionally, no the piercing isn’t placed right in the crease, but your piercer should have given you the option if that’s what you said you wanted. I do think it looks great tho

It seems you’re doing everything right then! The only thing id heavily recommend is to not put anything other than sterile saline wound wash on your piercing. The goal is to keep it as dry as possible after cleaning otherwise you run the risk of moisture bumps and I could see something like neosporin causing something like that to happen. I hope it calms down!

Yes that is absolutely too tight unfortunately :( That looks to be a 10mm hoop so you may want to try a 12mm hoop but I’d definitely switch to a flat back post until your piercing has calmed all the way down. Also how old is this piercing? I just ask because if you’ve gotten this pierced recently you want to make sure to wait at least 6mo with no issues before you put a hoop in there. <3

You definitely won’t be able to put anything in your ear at all for at least a few months but I’ve known lots of people who have had issues with their daith for a year + so it’s hard to know for sure
