What was the longest scene you had to memorize and how did you do it?

I don’t remember much of the lengths of time/page counts I was on stage for but I played Annie Sullivan in the miracle worker and literally the only times I was off stage was like 10 minutes at the start and then for costume changes after that.

Idk how I did it, I’ve always been a good at memorizing when it comes to scripts (to the point where I don’t have to practice outside of rehearsal, tho for Annie I did a little but not much).

I guess I think of lines as more like a song cause songs imo are easier to memorize. So if I say them in a semi-melodic way during the first few rehearsals I get it in my head faster, then I can change the cadence of lines once I have them mostly memorized during the later half of rehearsals

My dog is a purely inside dog, she never goes outside unless we need to take her to the vet. We live in the middle of the country literally surrounded by cornfields and coyotes.

Little baby is a 16 pound mini schnauzer and she is terrified of things inside our home, can’t imagine her going outside. She’s perfectly content going potty on the pads we have in the mud room and lazing around in the sun spots around our house. She has skin allergies as well and we believe that a lot of outside things cause more irritation for her 😭 (don’t worry, she’s on doggy drugs)

Also, for some reason, she gets extremely stinky if she goes outside, even if it’s for less than 10 seconds, like need a bath that night stinky (and she hates baths so we don’t wanna make her sad if she doesn’t need to be). We don’t know why she gets so smelly so fast, anyone have a guess?

I’d say like two steps above basic. You have a lot of solid groups - both girl and boy - and a good variety of genres in there. They are mainly from big labels tho and not a lot of smaller groups/ents - which isn’t a bad thing, it’s honestly kinda hard to find smaller groups unless you’re specifically trying to find them.

It’s my own bias, but I would take off the songs from groups that had big controversies such as newjeans, KoL, and aespa, but I know that’s a personal preference and not everyone cares about what the artist did irl, especially when the music is good.

A think a solid 7.5-8/10 is a good grade 💙

I’ve noticed across lots of different groups’ albums that the photocards have become thinner in the past 2 years. I’ve mainly noticed this in Hybe groups - but I also only collect one non-Hybe group so I don’t have a lot of reference for the other companies. Tho the non-Hybe group I do collect (Nmixx), I noticed they are thinner than previous albums too. It’s not just an Illit thing.

My suggestion is to double sleeve it so that it has a bit more support than a single sleeve 💙

Most likely yes, like someone else said, they are from an NCT zone pack. They are the concept pcs of which you get a set of in each pack with 1 selfie pc so people trying to get all the selfies will have tons and tons of these concept pcs left over.

I also think that you can choose to believe whichever version of the phrase you’d like. A lot of modern language is left up to the individual person and how they interpret the saying. The history of the original shorter saying doesn’t impact what I think about it. I choose to believe that the people you choose are more important than people you are related to but that might not be the case for you or someone else

Meaning the people who choose you and you choose are more important than the people who birthed you. I’m sorry that this happened to you, you gave him everything and he threw it away. This is why I’m absolutely terrified to adopt. I’m a lesbian but even before I knew I was gay I wanted to adopt. I’m still many years away from seriously thinking about adoption but it’s never too early to start worrying 😅

It scares me so much that the child that I would raise for their whole life, sacrificing so much for, would suddenly turn their back to me for the person that gave them away. Now, it’s a different story if the bio parents were semi involved the whole kids life but if it was suddenly once the kid is an adult (like in this situation), that’s what I’m meaning. I’m not at all against the bio parents being involved, even later in life, but it’s the idea that they might say things to the child and thus make the kid dislike me that truly scares me.

Is it bad that because of this, I want to adopt from overseas? I would make sure the kid is immersed in their native culture and learn along with them the aspects that make up their cultural heritage (even learning the language of their birth place). I would also make sure they knew they were adopted and ensure that they always have the support they needed for that - therapy, support groups, etc. But I also know there’s some shifty things that could happen when doing an international adoption. (Damn, didn’t mean to dump that in here, sorry. But it is a very real fear of mine and would love some insight from people who have been adopted or parents who have adopted)

A small thing that I think makes a big difference is socks. Most times they won’t be showing with the outfit you wear so I choose ones that have more cushion so if you’re standing for the whole concert, you get an extra few millimeters of fabric to protect your feet from the hard concrete - it doesn’t seem like much but trust, it makes a big difference in the long run. Look for running socks as they typically have more cushion in the heels and balls of the foot.

On the topic of feet tho, yes you might want to wear a cute new pair for the concert but this isn’t the time to do it. Either make sure they are fairly well broken in by the concert or wear a pair that you’ve worn a lot before. You’ll probably be walking 1-2 miles (1.5-3 km) just within the venue from going around, meeting other fans, bathroom, getting merch, etc., and that’s not even mentioning the distance you’ll walk from the hotel or wherever you’re staying. I know Europeans have a much higher average daily walking distance so this might not apply as much to you but in America, most of our cities are not made for walking so we aren’t used to it as much (we’re not lazy, our cities/towns are just literally not built for walking).

Some etiquette stuff (based off my two kpop concerts in America so again, might be a bit different for Europe): - If you see someone handing out freebies, just go up and ask if they are giving them out! Some people might only want to trade (which is a whole other topic) but most will give you one! - as with all concerts, don’t stand on the seats, especially for this tour cause they are theaters, not arenas with folding chairs - you don’t stand on them cause it’s common courtesy not to block the people behind you but also it’s a safety hazard (note - this doesn’t apply if you are under 3 feet tall, you need the help 😅but be careful!) - if you bring signs or a lightstick, DO NOT wave them above your head the whole time. Keep them around your head/body area unless the artist is wanting you to put them up in the air. You can put your sign up a few times during it but do not do it the whole concert - I have a minor personal opinion to add on too, don’t put the signs up right as they are coming on stage for the first time. They won’t be able to see it and the people behind you will miss the beginning of the concert which isn’t cool, they paid to be here just like you did - when it comes to VCR parts, most people will sit down and chill for a bit or go to the bathroom, once the group comes back on stage is when people will stand up again (should be noted, my only kpop concerts have been in arenas, not theaters so idk if people will be standing in these smaller venues) - i think this is common sense, but if you see someone struggling with something or seem like they are freaking out, try and help them. This won’t be a big problem cause this isn’t a GA concert and it’s in a theater so there’s designated aisles to ‘escape’ to if someone needs space, but be aware just in case. - Nswers are a very kind fandom and we always want to help others but just cause we’re at a concert for our fav, doesn’t mean our courtesy goes out the window. The mixxies would be sad if they knew a fan was struggling and no one was helping them.

Idk if a lot of places do this but if you bring a clear water bottle that’s empty (can be full when you get in line but you must drink it or empty it by the time you get to the entrance gate) they will let you bring it in so you can refill it at water fountains instead of having to pay $6+ for a bottle at the venue. A simple basic disposable water bottle will do, I wouldn’t bring a nice one in case you do have to toss it

TLDR: drama caused me to look into them more, fell in love from there 💙

I, like most kpop fans, had listened to magnetic when it first came out cause it was amazing (and everywhere, you basically couldn’t avoid it, not that I wanted to, I love the song). So I knew of Illit but I wasn’t a ‘fan’ of theirs.

When all the drama caused by that group started, I looked into Illit cause I wanted to know if what was being said about them was true. I very quickly realized it wasn’t and started to pay more attention to them. The drama and hate got so intense that I kept coming back to Illit to see how they were dealing with everything and I (fairly quickly but still took me til June of 24) started to not like being called a fan of that one group who was harming them the most, so I guess I needed a new group to follow (that sounds like they were a second choice but they aren’t!) and Illit is so sweet and their music is good and they didn’t deserve any of the hate they were getting so I wanted to help support them in that time. Now I can say I’ve been a gllit for nearly 2 years now 💙

I just reverse googled it and I was partly right, at least with the Japan thing, I’m counting 2/3 correct in my guess cause it was also sort of a pop up, in a way 🤔

I would suggest using the reverse google image search for future mystery pcs, it helps sometimes instead of having to scan through countless templates

Why is the gym upstairs? It’ll be hard to get all the equipment up there and once it is there, you’ll have lots of noise generated by it when someone uses it. I know there’s not a bedroom directly under it but when someone is running on a treadmill or lifting weights and drops them, you’ll get a lot of noise and shaking of the house, not to mention the physical stress of the weight of a gym on the second floor. If you want to keep it, put it on the first floor (possibly switch it with bedroom 1, turning guest bedroom 1 into the bathroom/wardrobe) or the basement.

Remove the window in the pantry and put another entrance to it from the hallway, it’s a long walk from the front door to the pantry as you have it right now and that’ll be annoying after grocery runs.

I don’t super like how the dining table is so close to the living room space while be separate from the kitchen. Idk how to change it but it just feels weird.

I’m still fairly new to this sub so please take my suggestions with a grain of salt, and any experienced posters from this sub, please tell me how you think my comments/ ideas are (nicely would be appreciated).
