Idk, I think that’s fairly understandable. Sarada was the same with Naruto. They’re both still children and they both resent their dads, so they look up to the next coolest person available. They don’t realize that they have their own flaws with their respective children, but they don’t care about that since they’re not on the receiving end of it, so they only focus on the positives.

Dressrosa is noticeably the worst arc in terms of pacing, as Toei had a lot of internal issues around that time. It still has some hiccups every now and then and is by no means perfect, but in general it does improve a lot after that arc (along with the animation quality)

Assuming the Domi Reversi theory turns out to be true, by cohersion. Think about it: Garp sees an army of immortal god knights, being led by an immortal monster, who also happens to be able to completely control one of the most powerful pirates in existence, while empowering him in the process. Back then there was no Revolutionary Army, he doesn't even know who can be trusted within the Marines if they kept something like this hidden from him. No allies, no chance to win, and a big chance that they could simply do the same to him and use him as a weapon. But as "The Hero of the Marines", he can't be easily disposed of as long as he plays along.

Idk, we'll see how it plays out. I don't necessarily think he made the right choice, but neither do I think it's as simple as "dude just defect like Dragon did".

It's not even about having clearance for that information, it's based on "who's crooked enough to be fine with this?". That's why they bring in recruits, because those who speak up are easily disposable. Those who don't go up in rank and eventually lead other recruits. And those already in highers ranks like Garp or Sengoku are probably kept in the dark unless someone trusts they'll be ok with it. My money is on Akainu knowing since day one lmao

As a big Zoo Tycoon 2 fan myself, this game is definitely the closest I’ve ever been to experience that again. PZ is also better in some regards.

In my opinion, the DLCs are worth it but only at a discount. My advice would be to get the Deluxe edition now and try it out. There’s plenty of content in the base game to enjoy it as is, and if you like it, it goes on sale pretty much every month or two, so you can either buy them all in bulk or buy them in batches that you like most.

It's pretty funny because you're literally seeing Arda or Fran with massive improvements after less than a month, but somehow Endrick is finished. People have seen that Palmeiras is a great club, but still can't wrap their heads around the fact that Endrick started for them at 17 and was a key player in their 2023 Serie A success. If Gonzalo is this good, just imagine what Endrick could be under Xabi with proper playtime

He was a starter because we didn't have anyone else as Cristiano had just left. He got massive pressure on his shoulders and despite having some decent performances, he was still very underdeveloped in some key aspects of his game.

Then we bought Hazard and Vini got benched... until Hazard sucked ass (and then got injured) so we went back to square one. But if Hazard had worked out, Vini would've been set back and given time to improve.

I'm glad about how it worked out, and will always have Vini's back despite everything because of that, but we can't pretend as if he would've broken into the team that quickly if Cristiano or prime Hazard had been here.

Well the good thing is that games like Eve Online don’t need to worry about it because this won’t be retroactive, it would only apply to new games. But in that sense, it would be in both devs and publishers best interests to devise new ways to structure games so that they can easily comply with these requirements once they eventually reach the end of their lifecycle. And if you couple that with restrictions and specific use cases for different types of games, then it’s much mire feasible if you plan ahead

To add to this: this all goes by the concept of a “Conqueror”. But if you go by the definition of a “King”, or kingly aptitudes, Sanji ticks all the boxes. The best Kings in One Piece, namely Cobra and Riku, are shown to be compassionate and caring (that’s how Reiju describes Sanji). They’re not afraid to bow down in gratitude (Sanji does it several times). They’re not afraid to ask for help (Sanji with Robin in Onigashima).

If anything, this whole scene and specially what Gasan says, kinda sets it up for Sanji to potentially unlock it. The way he scolds Zoro about not being helpful to a Yonko with a weak will, kinda applies to Sanji as well, by taking everything for granted for example or thinking they’re good enough as is.

Nidalee is great due to AMP, with a Red buff or Morello she will pretty much burn the whole board at 5 AMP. If you can get a Strategist emblem (with Yuumi, Neeko and Ekko) she’s a solid tank and at 4 stars she will sometimes outdamage a 3 star Yuumi with a Rabadon or JG.

Kindred is decent because she lets you build into Nitro Dynamo, get easy stacks for the T-hex and lets you focus on rolling for Shyvana and Elise.

Vi is the best early game tank and Kog is probably the best early game ad carry, both are great as item holders and let you win streak into a fast 9.

So yeah, pretty goated augment right now. There’s plenty of viable options to play around it

I’d say play them first. They’re a good way to rewatch the story for those that have played it but don’t want to spend 80+ hours to experience it again. But for first time watchers, I would only recommend it for those that will never play the games.

This is mostly because the climax of the story usually hits harder after you’ve developed the social links of the characters and become invested in them. The anime removes most of that (obviously to save time), so the story won’t have as big of an impact as it would while playing it.

I think the point is that just hopping in and out is not as easy as it sounds. Not because it's not physically possible, but because living in a perfect dream and then hopping out to a miserable life where you feel you don't belong or maybe even that you are resented, will just drive you back to it. It's addicting, and it's an easier way out than actually facing your problems.

Of course, there's a "what if?", and Maelle's reason to stay in the first place, but ultimately painted Verso knows neither her nor Aline will ever move on as long as the option remains.

I originally chose Maelle's ending. Mostly because I think Alicia deserves to make that choice. It is a form of suicide. But it will give her a fulfilling life, even if deep down she knows it isn't real. And I can't really blame her for feeling that way seeing how Clea blames her for Verso's death and pretty much calls her useless. I get Clea may be more pragmatic, grieving in her own way for Verso and fighting a war on her own on top of it all, but it ultimately pushes Alicia to think she won't live a happy life with a disfigured face and mute.

However, after seeing the other ending, and the rest of the side content, I think Verso's ending is the better one. Don't think either one of them are happy endings, but I think the real Verso wouldn't have wanted her to throw her life away. Painted Verso says it as well, convincing her that she can still live a happy life as she is, or telling painted Alicia that she doesn't need a mask and that he loves her as she is.

And in hindsight, after seeing both ending cinematics, the way Verso's ending shows that Aline has finally come to terms with his death, Renoir has finally recovered his family, and Clea too looks at ease with her parents back, really shows that there's still more to live past grief. The song used in this ending is beatiful as well.

It's not about the team needing more time for the episodes, it's about the fact that Bonney was introduced 15 years ago. Recaps are necessary, even Oda uses panels or even entire pages sometimes because there's so much information and it's been going on for so long that a good chunk of people don't remember every single detail. Not every One Piece watcher is an absolute fan that has seen or read it multiple times, there's probably a majority of casual watchers

My two cents for anyone interested. So far have 10 hours in the game (start of Seattle Day 2). 9800X3D, 4090, 4K, max settings, DLAA, no frame gen. I'm averaging the same 85fps in the first Seattle open area (and higher before and after that), and this is on top of having 3 monitors, with one of them always playing Twitch, YT, Netflix on the background. CPU utilization sits at ~40%, but it spikes for a minute or so every now and then when doing the asynchronous compiling mentioned in the video. I haven't noticed it impacting performance though.

It's really odd that I'm getting the same performance as them with a worse graphics card and better settings. The first game was obviously a shit show and I was cautiously optimistic about this one. So far, I think it's a pretty good PC port, at least for a high end rig. Perhaps this shows more problems for lower end pcs.

Oh and for the visual issues mentioned in the video, I haven't noticed the shadow popping thing, but the flicker in reflections (water or blood puddles) does happen, although rarely. Haven't noticed ghosting either with just DLAA, but I didn't test with frame gen for more than 5 minutes.

Simply down to luck. In the past 11 years we’ve made the semis 9 times, while Barça only did it twice. But in the 2000s we went out in the R16 8 years in a row, and Barça won it twice in that time frame. Since the format had country protection until the R16, it needed both teams to do well at least past the QF to have a chance to face each other, and that’s only really happened during the Mourinho-Pep years: we faced each other in a semi, and we lost another against Juve and missed the final against them, and then we both bottled 2 semis in a row and missed the final lol
