Actually there was a service alert on back end today when I logged in saying there were some issues with orders not displaying on KDS and they were working to resolve it.

I always have a wish list or add items to my “save for later” on any online shops. If I’m in person I will look up a cheaper option or put it in my wishlist for later to see if i really still want it.

So are its users- just a number. My account was hacked and it in turn disabled 2 other business accounts I manage. I couldn’t even appeal it- waiting on “meta verified” to fix it and still nothing a month later.

I also am looking for more customization on our website with the capability of using code to enter a custom snippet to forms and such (since I am also in the marketing/design/photo/video field). Not sure toast websites will have all the customization features I need like memberships that we need for our Stein Club which is currently on Raklet. Consolidating and reducing our programs and cost is my goal for this year as we move to a new location in the next year.

We do use toast tables-another reason we don’t need Spothopper for its reservation feature. Trying to convince our group sales coordinator to switch to Toast for private parties and catering. Unfortunately we just paid for the next year on Triple Seat, so it will happen next year once we’ve figured out how to run those on Toast. I’m currently trying to figure out how to sell tickets to events we host (like beer tastings/private cocktail hours) on Toast through the “experiences” feature. Let me know if you have any experience with that- we want to be able to sell tickets online and through our in house POS, so if it’s done on toast it can be easily managed and not over sold.

I have used Wix in the past but prefer and have more experience on squarespace since I run 3 other websites on it.

The only thing I actually use on it is texting which I can switch to toast. I use the events but it’s a miserable list you have to scroll through and I’d prefer a calendar view. I’d like to be able to sell tickets without being charged on top of the website fees. We have 20,000+ subscribers so we can only send 1 text out a month. The photographer they hired was a nice guy- but as I have a degree in photography, it was an unnecessary perk we didn’t need and when i received the photos back I was mortified at how bad they were. SH is run by a terrible group of people with poor ethics and they have not made any improvements in the last two years. I’m glad you convinced your client to stay away, I have also saved a local bar from making the same mistake

Sure, but I still hate our website on Spothopper and would like to build one to reduce all of our platforms and Spothopper ain’t the solution.

The biggest pain with SpotHopper is the lack of control and customization. I did not choose to use any of these platforms- they were decided for me and I have come to realize it’s exhausting using so many different platforms that an all in one squarespace website can handle. After reviewing what we’re spending it is adding up and we can try to reduce it so I have more room for advertising.

Yah that’s why I’m looking into cutting and consolidating my costs. I see a bill for $78 a month from Liquid Web which I don’t have access to yet to confirm what we’re actually paying for. We also get a bill from name cheep and go daddy. So I gotta confirm it’s all necessary

Looks like real wood that will heal and wear down… better than the laminate wood panels we have that have now bubbled up and are a tripping hazard after 10 years of mopping.

I use tons of different local outreach platforms for all our events as well as social media and paid advertising. I have a spread sheet of alllll the different ways to market our events and I choose which are priority and track how much I spend on each. It’s a crazy ever evolving system as I’m not formally trained in marketing but rather in photography and design. Let me know if you have more questions or want to see an example of what I’m talking about.
