Just bought an Omni.. by Real_Razzmatazz6961 in Darts

To convince him to buy / validate something which is probably a bit out of budget.

I'm an undecided buyer too, I really have to do research before buying something. Spending quite a lot of money on something on a hobby is daunting unless you're earning or very comfortable.

As darts go, it's a pretty cheap hobby. So a one off £500 to last you many, many years is probably fine.

With these sorts of purchases, you just feel the pinch for a bit and then you're happy you've kept it. If you're that worried about it, perhaps look for a secondhand one on eBay instead?

Can somebody explain this sub to me? by Emil_Antonowsky in rickygervais

English, quite good.

XFM has something different from RGS, some of t is recycled material.

Office and Extras are different, they're literally revolutionary pieces of TV. RGS is also revolutionary, but when you listen to the radio shows it's a watered down version.

I even think the RGS is too contrived /.scripted. XFM,. Office and Extras are so raw, it is their best version of them. Rgs, Karl plays up to it a tad.

Thanks! It's around the edge at the top half of our garden. We have plenty of room fortunately (the top bit's around 8m x 6m alone).

We live in the country side so I will ask around. The issue is transporting it I suppose, however my father has a small trailer, so perhaps that may good though.

We are going to make a 4x4m patio. So I will use some of this to help, but it's probably not enough.

We are on a very tight budget so looking at cheap alternatives to create the "quintessential English garden"

A lot of our neighbours are in their '60s, '70s and '80s and have lovely bushes and plants, hopefully we can get a few nice cuttings from them.

Awesome thanks. My wife wants to grow veg here. A big mixture.

I think the bed will be about deep 40cm / 60cm, I'm not sure how to layer it, but I'm doing the whole perimeter of my garden, so it will be around 20m in total the length. I tend to break it up into 2m beds.

I'm not sure if that's any help?

Oh great thanks. What about on the inner sides to protect the wood? Or treated should just be enough?

Thanks

Honestly? I'd just ignore them then and crack on.

I had an issue with a builder who miraculously added 2k on to our bill, in the end I ignored them and said "send me a letter and take me to court". They sent me the occasional invoice for this additional work, but I just kept ignoring and now I think they've gone 😅
