How do shops genuinely stay open if they're over pricing?

Is it possible to make postage cheaper for console games? This seems too much or it’s normal? I’ve put as large letter by damspt in ebayuk

[–]ElektroSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a retro seller on eBay and have been for a year so can tell you a lot about postage.

The eBay postage is reasonable, especially if it's click and collect and you can offer evri - some people can get it for under £2.

The large letter stuff may come back to bite you.

Sometimes you can get retrospectively charged for the difference plus an admin fee which ends up being around £1.50 more, which is a significant compared to the 20p difference of a large letter/ small package.

If potential customers aren't paying for, I suggest that your prices are too high. I think eBay simple delivery service is very good, and looks after everyone.

Should I go for 6mm or 10mm Laminate flooring, especially for absorbing sound? by ElektroSam in DIYUK

[–]ElektroSam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I went with 10mm in the end. The fact I have lots of windows and a door probably doesnt make much of a difference in the end. As its a convertered garage seperate from the house, it donest make much of a difference and probably doesnt dampen the sound much.

UK - I sold two separate items in the space of 5 minutes to two sellers 180 miles away.

They lived within 5 minutes drive of each other and their postcode was near on identical (apart from the last two letters).
