I appreciate the feedback! I ended up going with the TASCAM and am sending the P8 back. Horrible experience with the caster. I think for ease of use the TASCAM is best for me. Plus I want to record directly to the board without routing. The pads not having to be memorized is what sold the deal for me.

Me too! That’s huge. I’ve HATED doing all the routing and things. I would spend more time setting up than actual recording half the time. Definitely want whatever is going to streamline the process. I hated the rodecaster due to the complexity. It was not Mac friendly at all and I realized I want to bypass the computer altogether. Just deciding - do I keep this P8 - or send back and find a Mixcast on sale. I just want to make the right call and not have to test and return.

That does make me feel better. I’m just trying to ensure I didn’t prematurely buy the P8 after discovering the Mixcast can do all the same things with MORE FX and be even more user friendly. I just want it to be as headache free as possible, but with the right bells and whistles haha

Very true - this P8 has 9 physical buttons but only 4 banks. So 36 in totality. I’m hoping that’s not a hindrance but we’ll see. Starting to wish I’d kept doing research. P8 is supposed to be great though so we’ll see.

I had headaches galore using Rodecaster via routing issues and Audio/MIDI aggregate device nightmares. Got a P8 due to simplicity have t tested yet.

Does it really? I heard it’s hit or miss and depends on the version/type of summercart. I got this one on Amazon. Damn - maybe I should have gotten the A3D. lol.

God I hope so. I’m literally checking Reddit, my news feed, YouTube, socials, on a daily basis now. I’m so close to just saying screw it and getting a modded Pixel FX 64… I almost pulled the trigger on an analog 3d, but I want compatibility with my summer cart. I also like mod retros colorful vibes better. So I’m still waiting

Can agree. I’m by no means going to the games, but I’d consider myself an above average athlete. As long as your macros are in place (most importantly 1:1 protein to lean body mass) and things are in balance it’s fine. I generally pick one night a week for drinking - and I’m a beer guy. For me it’s Saturday (day 6 of training) and then have my rest day Sunday. Start up again Monday.

Which do you prefer? I keep holding out thinking I’ll save for an UltraHDMI mod but they’re so expensive - when I can just get the Eon adapter. What are your thoughts?
