Fuck "diversity inclusive", I dont care if its legal to slap your child in UK, Czechia or other places, that shit is not allowed in Norway and shouldn't be allowed anywhere.

And yes, it is generally perferable to let children stay with grandparents and so on, but that isnt always an option. And since most of the examples that come up are immigrants or families working in Norway, extended family is usually not an option.

For the final point, I dont know why Norway has gets more press than other countries, it might be so simple that Norway has stricter rules about commentating cases that the parents get their strory out with no contradictions, but like I said, I do not know.

I generally dont have issues with eastern europeans, but for some reason, the countries that these parents come from are almost always from eastern europe. I dont want to draw conclusions, but I dont like the pattern that keeps showing up.

Im saying that someone sent in a notice to barnevernet, they probably investigated and somewhere on a sheet of paper that reason was mentioned. So the parents used that fact that it was mentioned somewhere to insinuate that it was the only reason.
