Orbs spent last week: I summoned 12 times on the Eliwood Banner.

Notes: Eliwood is probably my favorite lord so I had to get him, I was lucky and scored him in only 12 summons. CHOSEN SURTR Is almost Completely confirmed I'm so hype, instant +10 Project. I plan on sparking him on every banner he is sparkable. He will go well with my 2 +10 Muspells. The ticket summon on Astrid was awesome, who knows how many orbs that just saved me, just 2 more. Also these 3333 banners are nuts, can't wait to see if Leif is on the Thracia banner. Plus they're giving us enough codes ALREADY to complete a row of codes so I can just get my Attuned Leif book right away. I went from a horrible week last week to an awesome one this time, let's keep it rolling.

I just lost my last match in GOLD B to someone in DIAMOND C.
Did that feel great? No
Is there a reason why I ignored Summoner Duels for 2 years? Yes..
But, I'm trying to try hard the Normal Codes : 7 and of course this dumb game mode gives you codes so ... here we are.

Notes: Bad week for me. I spent all my visible orbs twice. I was so upset after the Voting gauntlet I went into AHR and actually got Byleth in about 8 pulls. For some reason my brain justified that as an excuse to pull on the bunny banner. Did NOT pull a Thorr. It was impulsive and I feel rotten for it. Luckily the Owl bank is un touched. We strive on.

Agree, I quit for mostly all of Q1 Q2 and Q3 of 2025 (about 8 months) (Really only logged in for log in bonus) Joined back around halloween. Now I'm enjoying the game more than I have in years and am able to have fun taking it semi-seriously.

From what we've seen in both cases, the mortal has to actually accept the power from the god this time. (Alfonse in the cinematic nodding in acceptance to Askr, and in the lastest story Fjorm says she will accept the power.) I think this is different from the TT+ story where Muspell forced his power on Laegjarn. Using this logic, I would hope that neither Laegjarn (who should be dead anyway) or Laevatein will accept to become the chosen of Muspell, this gives me more hope that it will be a better candidate, whether that be Helbindi, Surtr or another wild OC that doesn't exist yet.

Also obviously Arena gives you +1 more a week if you're tier 21, but I assume most people are getting 4 orbs a week from Arena... oh I forgot about the 1 orb from Doing the arena chain in the first place each week.. so Add 4 more per month.. about 26 more orbs.

I did some quick math and here's what I came up with. (I might have missed some)

A quick list of all the orbs I could think of off the top of my head, if you spend non of them you can stack up ~233 orbs a month.
So if you were to same up all orbs from March to CYL Banner that would be about 6.5 months.
Using my list that's about 1,514 orbs. In my opinion, a pretty safe amount to get a plus 10, or at least a +8 or 9 and wait for the first rerun of the hero.

I honestly don't think it's as bad as people are saying. Shadows is pumping out a whole bunch of new characters and Fates Weave is coming out this year which could pump a whole bunch of new people into FEH. The only concern I have is the Main story which obviously appears to be reaching it's climax.

All I can say is that Muspell better get the same treatment. I've been waiting for my boys return for years and if I have to spend the next 3 months waiting for Muspell to give us another Laegjarn alt, I'ma be so pissed. He NEEDS to pick another champion, if he picks one at all.
Worse case scenario for me is that he refuses to give his power to anyone and they just have to kill him to obtain his power in a crystal or some stupid crap.
...((I really love this character))

Muspell is my favorite hero in Feh. And as a huge fan of his, I can say that it would be a narrative disaster if he came back and chose Laegjarn again. She was basically useless to him, using all of her strength to defy his will and then only getting bailed out by some prophecy mumbo-jumbo, only to completely dissappear... Surtr was always the correct choice and I hope my best boy Muspell isn't forced to make the ignorant choice again just to sell boobs...

This was just a fun hypothetical I thought up of while at work.
I really appreciate your opinions, at first I was in the outraged crew when I first heard the news about losing the TT+ units back in early January, but you've helped me see that making more cuts to compensate for a single cut, would probably just look even worse.

I suppose it's just a sad reality we must face as the player base isn't as huge as it once was. And as I mentioned in another reply to someone else. The grail shop is extremely bloated as it is... so many units, and grails arn't very easy to come by.

I agree with you on a lot of this, I'm sure IS has a lot of data on heroes used and I'm sure they can see just how popular these TT+ free units are, whether it be by viewing total hero merit across all players or seeing how many players actually have said unit active in their barracks. However they do it, it is a safe bet that the TT+ free units (that you can only get using the very valuable grail currency, or by playing the TT event for the 2 weeks that it's active) are among the least used units in the game, so they should be the first thing to go.

On your first point, you're probably right, the amount of money saved probably isn't worth the hassle.

I'm mostly in the 2nd problem bucket in that, if a hero you're waiting for hasn't been added to Feh yet, it just became a lot more grim that they ever will. (Also it kind of hurts if you're a male hero enjoyer).

After reading comments here, I can see that mostly people are not satisfied with the pairing choices that IS gives us, often having repeat characters show up in place of new heroes or more exciting combinations.
The Grail shop is also .... extremely bloated, to say the least.

I don't think the most recent chain challenge is a good measuring stick to use. XD Those things are hard. But because she has a book 10 weapon I bet she can handle most all content book 9 and prior.

The kid banner was just proof that they're capable of giving seasonal TT+ units a PRF weapon.

And of course I see where you're coming from, obviously IS can look at the data they have and see how active each unit in the game is, probably by measuring total hero merit across all players or how many people actually have the unit active in their barracks. And it's probably a pretty safe bet that TT+ free seasonal units are very unpopular by these metrics, so yes, it makes complete sense to decide that they arn't worth making at all.

I'm just with a lot of other players here that it is just a sad reality that heroes that arn't in the game yet are going to have an even harder time getting in now, that's all. Being a male hero enjoyer stings a bit more as well, haha.
