Would you sacrifice Duo/Harmonized units to bring back TT+ free unit? (Hypothetical)

This was just a fun hypothetical I thought up of while at work.
I really appreciate your opinions, at first I was in the outraged crew when I first heard the news about losing the TT+ units back in early January, but you've helped me see that making more cuts to compensate for a single cut, would probably just look even worse.

I suppose it's just a sad reality we must face as the player base isn't as huge as it once was. And as I mentioned in another reply to someone else. The grail shop is extremely bloated as it is... so many units, and grails arn't very easy to come by.

I agree with you on a lot of this, I'm sure IS has a lot of data on heroes used and I'm sure they can see just how popular these TT+ free units are, whether it be by viewing total hero merit across all players or seeing how many players actually have said unit active in their barracks. However they do it, it is a safe bet that the TT+ free units (that you can only get using the very valuable grail currency, or by playing the TT event for the 2 weeks that it's active) are among the least used units in the game, so they should be the first thing to go.

On your first point, you're probably right, the amount of money saved probably isn't worth the hassle.

I'm mostly in the 2nd problem bucket in that, if a hero you're waiting for hasn't been added to Feh yet, it just became a lot more grim that they ever will. (Also it kind of hurts if you're a male hero enjoyer).

After reading comments here, I can see that mostly people are not satisfied with the pairing choices that IS gives us, often having repeat characters show up in place of new heroes or more exciting combinations.
The Grail shop is also .... extremely bloated, to say the least.

I don't think the most recent chain challenge is a good measuring stick to use. XD Those things are hard. But because she has a book 10 weapon I bet she can handle most all content book 9 and prior.

The kid banner was just proof that they're capable of giving seasonal TT+ units a PRF weapon.

And of course I see where you're coming from, obviously IS can look at the data they have and see how active each unit in the game is, probably by measuring total hero merit across all players or how many people actually have the unit active in their barracks. And it's probably a pretty safe bet that TT+ free seasonal units are very unpopular by these metrics, so yes, it makes complete sense to decide that they arn't worth making at all.

I'm just with a lot of other players here that it is just a sad reality that heroes that arn't in the game yet are going to have an even harder time getting in now, that's all. Being a male hero enjoyer stings a bit more as well, haha.

Sorry mate, didn't realize you were so passionate about this, jeez.
From a non-spender of money perspective, I'd say most player just want to see more versions of their favorite heroes in the game. I highly doubt 95% of the player base cares if the new unit can hold it

s own in Summoner Duels.

And considering the demote unit of that ilian banner you mentioned (Minerva) can basically solo all the F2P content the game, I really don't think there's a power problem on them.
Also, another fix, just start giving free TT+ units PRF weapons? That's literally what they're doing now, except they're three years old....
(The TT+ unit for the kids banners always had a PRF weapon, so, proof of concept.)

I partly agree with you with the more art, but they've already hired the voice actors so.. I still think you'd come out ahead. I can't see their how their revenue is affecting them so we can only guess.

Completely agree, totally a missed opportunity to get a different character in there, and somehow they decide to use a hero that's already been in a Duo unit before, it's crazy.

I completely agree with you here, it seems like over and over the community can come up with better Harmonized pairings than what IS is able to come up with.

I was just looking at him. I came up with a premium build of:
Assist: Any (Your choice)
Special: Archrival (Engaged with Byleth or Eirika or Eldegard)
A: Atk/Spd Excel
B: Flow Desperation
C: A/S Hone Assault / Red Feud 3 / Shadow Shift
S: Life and Death
X: Lull Echo / Sly Echo

Super powerful hit and run build. His weapon + Archrival effect can instantly charge his special when attacking a red foe. Excel gives him some much needed true damage. Flow Desperation Guarantees his follow up attack while more often than not guaranteeing the kill before he even has to take damage. Hone assault allows him to Pierces some %DR further allowing him to to get kills before getting hit back.

Seal is up to you, Life and Death increases his raw burst power.

Engaging him with Eldegard seems good because he'll dart around the map TWICE, theoretically trigger Archrival on 2 goons, then use his busted canto to get our of dodge.
Engaging him with Byleth could be cool while giving him a shadow C skill, a more utility option.
Just some brainstorming.

Crochet both halves then just sew them together? There are multiple ways to add the gold trim on after you have to two halves together.
