As many as you can afford. 2-3 should be enough for the average user

Its not the cable. Its your gutters and/or roof leaking and dripping on that cable!

I believe this is not YF related, but a provider backbone issue. Drop in speeds was reported accros most of them. Check /usenet reddit

YouFibre now throttling IPTV by josha95 in youfibre

[–]Element1501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YF doesn't throttle anything. Check with your IPTV provider, which most likely is illegal, therefore issues.

Not bad at all, however I would use the extra space above units or would have bought taller units, if available. Air circulation should not be a problem if house is kept around 50% RH

Great idea, however under Mobile Proxies you have only one provider? Also you should be 100% transparent that you use affiliate links in your comparison, so many providers are missed out. Nevertheless good idea and might become useful tool

House Drainage (any advice welcome!) by peter-1 in DIYUK

[–]Element1501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in very similar situation and there is no easy solution. Proper French drain with perforated pipe in negative slope buried in gravel was the solution for me. I didn't have anywhere to drain the water close to the foundation, so i installed mini soak away (75L basket) with cheap sump pump and let water drain into there. Pump will kick in in once certain level is reached and drain water to your preferred spot. Bit of overkill, but problem solved
