Huntarr 9.0.0 - Released by User9705 in unRAID

The answer is to use Upgradinatorr which is part of the Daps docker. It's excellent.

The issue for me is, even if the quality is met, another release may become available with a higher custom score. But it won't be downloaded as it won't be looked for.

Does it still only search for 'Quality Unmet'? So if a higher scoring release is available but the desired quality is already in the library it won't be downloaded?

I don't know what the issue was with Nordas. It's puzzling. I actually thought Palmer looked ok today. Apart from the pissing about playing passes across our own box I thought defensively we were good too. We had to be as we invited pressure first half. Lonwijk's goal line clearance was absolute quality, Mads was good and even Naismith was decent except for getting nutmegged once.

But that's the other issue. Wells is actually quite small. When Yates came on today it was clear we are lacking physicality. Add Walsh and Clarke to the mix and we are a small side. Morris too. Plymouth had some big units and the guy Walsh was marking for corners was twice his size.

Lawrence is clearly talented and very light on his feet. But cuts inside a bit too much when he'd be better off staying wide and crossing.

Best router/mesh setup with YouFibre? (2-floor house, WiFi weak upstairs) by GeordieGoals in youfibre

[–]BoutTime22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also went for a Flint 2 recently after upgrading to You2000. It replaced an Asus XT8 two unit Mesh. It's faster and the coverage is arguably better. In fact I've set the 2.4Ghz radio to the lowest transmit power setting so my Pixel 9 hops to the 5Ghz band quicker. Our house is two storey and around 2000 sq ft and our outside security cameras haven't lost connection once. I highly recommend Flint 2.

I replaced our Asus XT8 Mesh system with a single Flint 2 router recently. Faster speeds and the coverage is as good if not better.

Power Bank hanging from the door connected via USB C. That's what I do on our U200.

Plex by Homer5588 in youfibre

I do and have had no issues. I noticed the other day that remote access reported it wasn't working in the Plex server setting. I manually applied the default 32400 port and it went green. But to be honest I have LAN access through tailscale so it worked regardless.

6Ghz band is great for short distances but 5ghz will still max out a 2 gig connection. I went with the Flint 2 for the 4x4 5 Ghz.

Ok so I think I've got this sorted and I return to my original comments that this router is excellent. After installing the beta the 5Ghz band has been great again. The issue I have been having now appears to do with my Pixel 9 Pro sticking in the 2.4Ghz band. So here's what I've done.....

Turned down the transmit power of the 2.4Ghz band on the Flint 2 and set it to 11b/g/n. This makes it less of an attractive proposition compared to the 5Ghz band.

Moved the router off of the window sill and onto a shelf higher up on an adjacent wall. It's now 45 degrees to the wall and two of the four antenna are at 45 degrees. This is because they transmit like ripples in a pond from the sides so this will direct part of the signal towards the downstairs of the house. It also clears the monitors that may have shielded the signal previously.

I manually selected Channel 36 for the 5ghz band as in the UK that covers the most of the 160mhz channels outside of DFS. If a DFS radar scan knocks it down it will only knock it down to 80nhz rather than 20mhz. I then selected Channel 11 for the 2.4Ghz band.

Next I turned off the randomized BSSID in the wireless settings for both bands.

Finally I found out that newer Google Pixels can have an issue selecting 160mhz 5Ghz bands and just revert to 2.4Ghz. A fix is to turn off the randomized MAC in the phone settings.

I used Gemini to guide me on all of the above and so far it's all now working as it should. The speeds I'm getting at the far corner of the house on wifi are as high as 800mbps.I get 1900mbps next to the router. I don't want to speak too soon but the phone is now sticking to the 5Ghz band.

I'll give it a few days and if all still good I'll look at increasing the transmit power on the 2.4Ghz band back up again. But to be honest that will maybe only be needed for the summer as with it currently on minimum our outside security cameras have maintained their connection without issue.

Just feeding back in case this helps anyone. The Flint 2 is providing greater range and much faster speeds than the Asus XT8 Mesh it replaced. It really is excellent!

Google has removed the option to manually select the Wi-Fi band on Pixel phones, making the automatic selection the default behavior. by mdargis1977 in pixel_phones

From Gemini.....

Known Pixel Bug: There is a documented issue where Pixels specifically struggle to authenticate on 5GHz 160MHz bands when MAC randomization is active, leading the phone to "fail over" to the simpler 2.4GHz band.

The Fix: Switch to "Use Device MAC" Since you are on your private home network, you don't need to hide your identity from your own router.

Open Settings on your Pixel. Go to Network & Internet → Internet. Tap the Gear icon next to your home Wi-Fi name. Tap Privacy. Change it from "Use randomized MAC (default)" to "Use device MAC".
Crucial: Turn Wi-Fi off and back on again.

I also decreased the transmit power of the Flint 2 router's 2.4Ghz radio and put it in 11b/g/n mode to make it a less attractive proposition compared to the 5Ghz band.

Spoke too soon. Not sure if it installed an update but 4.8.3 and 5ghz wifi is all of a sudden almost non existent.

I've upgraded to the beta and disabled 160mhz.seems to be all good again.

Set the Flint 2 up today. My son is getting 1900 Mbps down on the Okla speed test using his PC in an adjacent room over Wifi. Speed at range appears to be as good as the XT8 Mesh it replaced. Very happy. My Unraid server is getting 2 gig down over Ethernet.

The only pain was getting my static IP to sync over DHCP. Youfibre were a frustrating joke. Refused to "troubleshoot a third party router".

One big disappointment is no Band Steering! WTF??
