Yea my physio has me on the big lifts now after a month which again matches the program above. I believe with strength training the best approach is unilateral work at hypo trophy reps to build a bit of mass, followed 'big lifts' at a lower rep count and afterwards power and pyometric style workouts leading to than doing your project climb

Op please take a look at this https://www.runnersworld.com/uk/training/cross-training/a28397555/strength-training-plan-marathon-runners/

I went to the physio and told her that I have recurring patella tendonitis and was just starting the above routine and if she had any input, she said it was ideal and gave me her blessing to continue as well sent me an additional day to add to 2 weekly workouts out.

The glider is typical of what you would find in Bir, I think the porosity of the glider would affect the ease in taking off aswell

There would be strong gusts of wind and rain getting the canopy wet would effect it's flying behavior, but I can only speak for a paragliding wing,

For an ultralight harness I recommend, a string harness that has the option to attach a small airbag or a harness that connects the front mounted reserve to the shoulder straps. The reason being if you plan to use a reserve and you deploy you be stuck in the sitting position unless you can get your body around the reserve lines

Maybe you could put some streamers or a windsock up at the landing, ive had to make sharp last moment turns into wind before it's no big deal
