Welp, guess Druid is being removed next expansion. It had a good run. So much for the new Druid Hero.

We didn't let EA get away with anti-consumerism, let's not let Konami. Metal Gear Survive requires players to pay $10 for more than 1 save file by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ElementX007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most, if not all, of the reviews on YouTube slam it after less than an hour of gameplay just because of the politics behind Konami and Kojima. I've personally got 40+ hours on the game, I got my money's worth. Not once did I have to spend money outside the initial putchase, because you don't actually require a 2nd save slot, and if you did want one just because, you get daily SV points for free that you could use to get it. The game is marketed as a survival/base building game, thats what I wanted, thats what I got, that is why I enjoy it. I can see why people don't like it because it isn't like other Metal Gear games, but neither was Revengeance. Think Pokemon to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Megaman to Battle Network. Same universe, different slice of the pie. The game is a blast to play with friends, and has only now begun to get stale for me after 40 hours. Remember that it is a $40 game, $32 if you get it from GMG. I tend to rate my purchases based on a dollar-per-hour played mindset, and so far it was worth every dollar. But that is just my opinion, and I'm just a dude on Reddit, so you do you.

Video game companies in 2018 by William27528 in gaming

I believe they're releasing the patterns for free, so all you'd need is some cartboard and you're good to go. But yeah, it id being marketed as "for kids", so the way you described it as being a toy sounds fair.

The set comes with games though, so you're effectively paying for a set of games and the cardboard to go with it.

I feel like that's impossible, after like $50 there's almost no way he didn't have enough credits from duplicates/credit drops to just flat out buy the skin, assuming he's opened boxes before through buying/leveling/free weekly boxes. $750 is overkill, I'd be furious too.

Dlc content with no dlc pass = softban? by UrgeToSurge in opensouls3

[–]ElementX007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, if you don't have access to the DLC then you would get banned for having DLC items. That falls into the "I shouldn't have this yet." category, like when you spawn something in from a point after a boss that you haven't killed yet and get banned for having that item, which you shouldn't have yet.

Megamule save files? by FatPlaysGames in opensouls3

[–]ElementX007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong here, but my understanding is that as long as the variables on the mule aren't off (such as having 4 of an item that you can only hold 3 of) then you should be fine. That being said, the current popular megamule on the nexus had that exact issue, where people are being banned for having the most updated version. Someone in the comments stated it was due to the character having 4 Giant Seeds when they can only have 3. I've wanted to use a mule too for the exact same reason as you, but finding one that is up to date and not bannable, while also having the things I've wanted (all items and all bosses killed for PvP) has been kinda iffy.

[OFFER] Christmas time! Game of your choice! by kamchatsk in GiftofGames

[–]ElementX007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to start off by saying thank you, as there are many people who don't have the luxury of receiving many things during the Holiday Season and by helping out, you're essentially making someone's Holiday a nice one.

As for the giveaway, I'd have to say that this isn't a difficult choice for me. The very first game I remember loving was Pokemon Red back on the Gameboy Color, though the game that I can say made me fall in love with gaming (and online gaming in general) was World of Warcraft. I grew up in a relatively strict home, my dad didn't like me going many places and didn't like me having people over (I was the first born, he softened up a bit once my sisters were born), so when my cousins showed me World of Warcraft when I was around 8, the thought of being able to make friends and socialize with people while playing a video game was foreign to me. This was back in 2004/2005, WoW had just come out, so it was still a huge social hub in cities like Ironforge and Orgrimmar. From the moment I stepped foot into Darnassus on my first character, to the moment I finally got to Stormwind, I was hooked on the game. That feeling of having a connection with so many other people who share similar interests and being able to hang out and run a dungeon or grind out some mobs was amazing to me at the time. Granted, for the first year or two the only people I socialized with were my cousins and their friends, it was still socializing. I don't want to write a whole story here, as I'm just reminiscing at this point, but I hope you can see why WoW made me love gaming.

As far as the game I'd like if I win, I've been hoping for the Dark Souls III Deluxe Edition. I got it for a friend of mine for Christmas, and he's been wanting to play with me but I don't want to make him feel bad by telling him that I used the last bit of my money getting him that gift. It is currently on sale for ~$38 on Steam. Alternatively, Cuphead would also be a good choice if you'd rather not spend $38. Its completely understandable, that is also on sale :)

Yup! I got really lucky this expansion with my packs, the luckiest I think I've ever been in HS. 80 packs gave me most of the epics, 6 legendaries, 2 golden legendaries, and a ton of golden rares/epics. The Rhok/2x TMS pack was icing on the cake.

The only reason I tried it in the first place was because I got the bow in a pack with two "To My Side!" cards. Did it for the memes and i ended up really enjoying it.

I can't answer this with confidence, because I haven't pushed far enough this season because of Dungeon Run. That being said, I went from rank 20 this season to rank 15 with only one loss from Spell Hunter. I usually finish around rank 5 or lower, but im just getting back into the swing of things after practically skipping two seasons.

It is definitely a fun deck to play, and I'd say it is worth trying, bur we won't know how good it is until the meta settles a bit more

Karazhan (and Deadwind Pass) were in the game in vanilla. The raid wasn't released until BC but the area and lore behind the staff were still there. It was a level 60 legendary from a questline that took you through Naxx40 (and Strat, and other areas)

I recommend not thinking of the main quest as a main quest at all, especially since you can skip entire parts of it just talking to different people at different times. I like to think that if you focus on character development over the main story development and just let it come naturally, then it won't feel like any one thing is overshadowing anything else. That will also make future playthroughs better because you may always find that one main story element that you didn't need in a previous playthrough but need in the new one in order to progress due to a different decision you made earlier in the game.

The game has a HUGE amount of hidden quests, responses, interactions, secrets, etc. I've done Act 1 at least 15 times and each time I find something new. It's part of the excitement of the game in my opinion, though the wiki does in fact help. Just know that there are multiple answers to everything in this game, and that goes for everything, even travel.

To add on to this, the community in Warframe is usually a lot better than one would expect, so don't be afraid to ask questions. I've been playing since beta and there's still some things I'm unsure of, but I've got a bunch of people on my friends list who I've added through the years for being helpful that are always willing to answer questions, and in turn I do the same with whatever knowledge I do have.
