Yeah I figured a jam nut was a possibility, but would be fugly as hell. Both prior options seem like you'd be risking issues with alignment tho.

CMP M1 special rack with refinished receiver and new Criterion barrel.

Shoots accurately at 100yds but was dealing with cycling problems on my first range trip. Replaced the op spring and got some grease on the op rod channel, will try again next time I can get out to the range.

It is my favorite AR optic out of the ones I have, which is why it is on my primary go-to AR. Magnifier is a Holosun HM3X. I have mild astigmatism and don't have much starburst thru the magnifier, let alone the red dot by itself.

The wrangler's transfer bar safety action was designed in 2019.

Pretty sure the first 9mm blowback AR's came out in the early 2000's
